crazychris-89984 I don't like Wanda Sykes in any dose, but she is used entirely too much. Not funny, annoying with an irritating voice; at least she isn't hard to look at... Oh wait...
allstarrunner Honestly, I never really got into Seinfield. I have no idea why, I admit I need to give it yet another shot and force myself to watch the entire first season to see if I get into it. I've heard it said that you're either of lover of Seinfeld or Curb but not generally both - I have no idea how true that is, but it does seem to be true for me. I love how LD takes current cultural trends and then pokes fun at them. Personally, I think the later seasons are even better than the first! (but they are all good to me!)
fjk1138-731-161881 I'm no fan of Seinfeld at all and never watched it. I've heard Larry David in multiple interviews and thought he was hilarious. Everyone and their mother insisted that I try this show. After 3 episodes, it's basically the same joke that LD either pisses someone off, screws something up, or both. It never made me laugh nor want to see more. A shame too, because I think Larry is a funny guy. Not for me I guess...
keelhaul-80856 This show is OK, but extremely over-hyped. It is as if anything Larry does is supposed to be automatic comedy gold. Some of the situations were funny or entertaining, but this is still a very, very mediocre show, about a guy that is not that interesting. Basically, if you are friends with the right people, or a random Jewish guy, you pretty much have a 70% chance of success in Hollywood from the start. I mean, look at Adam Sandler and Pauly Shore. Larry has his moments, but it reminds me of Robin Williams. His bits get tedious and he comes off as an annoying attention-whore making noise about nothing. Robin Williams' interviews and routines often became like this, as if he needed to be doing something stupid and having people laugh at every move he made. If he put on a fake nose and jumped on a table, impersonating John Wayne, he was supposed to be a genius, automatically. Don't get me wrong--both Williams and Larry David have talent, but everything you do doesn't have to be comedy gold, and trust me, it isn't. Just because you play goofy music and put a pizza in the oven and make faces or something random, doesn't make me laugh offgate. OK show, like Seinfeld, but overblown as hell.
