EP1 Pilot Mar 05, 2017

Having recently discovered time travel, Dan, a facilities manager at a small Massachusetts college, has been transporting himself back to the 1700s to spend time with the colonial woman for whom he's fallen. In the present, Dan is misunderstood by all, and anxious that life is passing him by. But in the 18th century, he's absolutely hilarious - he gets the girl and makes friends. But Dan's actions in the past are messing up the present. That woman he's dating is not just any woman. She's Paul Revere's daughter, Deborah, and Dan's meddling causes her father to delay his famous ride, which may have altered the outcome of the entire American Revolution. To set matters right, Dan enlists the help of Chris, a brilliant, polished and popular history professor at the college, who's now given the incredible opportunity to actually live the history he teaches.

EP2 The Shot Heard Round the World Mar 12, 2017

Dan and Deb head back to colonial times to rescue Chris and help spark the Revolutionary War. Dan and Chris are forced to go undercover as British allies as they simultaneously try to rally the colonists to revolt in the Battle of Lexington. Unexpected friendships are formed and history is remade.

EP3 The Boyfriend Experience Mar 19, 2017

Deborah slowly discovers that Dan may not be the thrilling inventor he claimed to be back in 1776, and questions their budding relationship. To get her back, Dan resorts to desperate (and alarming) measures. Meanwhile, Chris is under intense scrutiny from his mentor, Dr. Cobell, as he works to finally achieve tenure at the university.

EP4 Chadwick's Angels Mar 26, 2017

In need of a victory, the trio heads back to the 1990s to give Dan another shot at his childhood dream: finishing the infamous "Bellybuster" ice cream sundae at a local parlor. As Deb bonds with the parlor's owner, Chris is on a mission to save a life in honor of his late British friend. But all of their plans are derailed when Dan runs into the bully that tormented him.

EP5 The Touchables Apr 02, 2017

In need of some quick cash for Deb to purchase an ice cream parlor, the trio decides to make some money rather than save the world. But after Chris devises a strategy to cash in on the fixed 1919 Chicago World Series baseball game, their get-rich-quick scheme is derailed when they run into the infamous mobster Al Capone.

EP6 The Godfriender Apr 23, 2017

Dan, Deb and Chris find themselves stuck in 1920s Chicago, with Al Capone holding their time travel bag hostage. Chris opts for a play-it-safe plan, using history to take out Capone, while Dan and Deb befriend him instead. As they teach him how to be a better mobster - and husband - they quickly realize that proving their loyalty may not be as easy as they thought.

EP7 Night Cream Apr 30, 2017

With the ever-present threat of losing tenure looming over him, Chris reaches out to John Hancock and Samuel Adams to help spice things up in the classroom in 2017. Meanwhile, Deb's dream of re-opening Chadwick's ice cream parlor is finally coming to fruition, but Dan has a few marketing ideas of his own.

EP8 The Duel May 07, 2017

Just as they're heading back to colonial times, John Hancock and Sam Adams meet the woman of their dreams and decide that there's no better way to determine who gets to court her than a classic duel. In the meantime, in hopes of garnering good publicity for Chadwick's, Dan sets up a meeting with a local reporter, who winds up asking some challenging questions about Deborah's identity.

EP9 Body Trouble May 21, 2017

Chris' life is in shambles, so Dan plays the time travel card with Dr. Cobell to help get Chris' job back, but his efforts go awry when he accidentally gives him a heart attack instead. Meanwhile, Deb hunts down Hancock and Adams to convince them to return to the past.

faithakennedy I really hope they decide not to cancel this show. It is such a fun show and different than the rest. I laugh every week at the antics of the characters. They're all fun in their own way. I know if people would get a chance to see this they'd love it too. I think it's one of the funniest new shows I've seen in a while. Please keep it on the air FOX! I really love it!
tillzen The good news is that "Making History" has a premise and a lead (Leighton Meester) with promise. The bad news is that the comedic choices of the writing doom any chance the show has to resonate with any viewer unbaked. Adam Pally is GREAT everywhere BUT here and the material as written seems a major cause? In the pilot he offered goofy and endearing hope but ever since he seems lost within TERRIBLE writing? Each of the 3 story arcs so far have taken us to fascinating locales but with ZERO comedic payoff. Al Capone and Founding Fathers as comedic foils have proved to be comedic lead. These choices (like Hitler's spoon) suggest show runners with terrible (and addled) judgment. Wastes of talent and money as exemplified by "Making History" is proof positive that network television comedy is bereft of producers, writers and network executives with the chops required to deliver comedy above the bar of sub-mentality. And I'm an Adam Pally fan.
esperancaed I'm a post-modern human being so watching TV-Series is, of course, one of my favourite things, except that shows containing a lot of earnest violence, tension, cliff hangers, love triangle situations, murder, sadness and/or a general abundance of negative situations stress me out more than they entertain me.I'm the kind of person who enjoys shows that employ a "make-fun-of-yourself- sometimes" kind of humor, have relatable characters, plots that are fun to follow and at least one female character that's not just there to make the male ones look tough. That's why I like 'Making History'! It has/does all of the above. It's hilarious, and manages to be that without making insensitive cheap-shot jokes about gender or race! There definitely are a lot of jokes based on stereotypes, but they usually go against and not with them and I like that a lot.I recommend this series to people who enjoy shows such as 'New Girl', 'Modern Family' and 'Parks and Recreation'. It's just really good for relaxing and having a good time, and it's also great for watching with friends that enjoy different genres of shows but all like a good laugh, since elements from several genres kind of come together here. As in those other shows the actors here seem really good at their jobs, and the terrible jokes are delivered with great comedic timing so that they are extra funny.I would not recommend it to people who need sequences about time travel to be science-y and believable, think sarcasm is the best kind of humor and/or hate puns, because this show will probably annoy them.
michaelrthomson is growing a little tired, haven't we been here and done this already? As so often is the case, I find myself admitting I didn't even make it through the pilot episode, so it may well be that this show is awesome, but...I wouldn't guess that is the case given the first/pilot episode was enough to put me off exploring this any further, despite having 3 episodes to watch watching in the wings (the were deleted without viewing). The acting was terrible, the script was about as creative as a dry dog poo on the pavement, and the humour, well I guess perhaps Americans might be amused, but as a non American I found this about as funny as the aforementioned dog poo. There were no redemption elements in this show at all, no even a cute actor to make the rest of this dogs breakfast worth viewing - alas. What amazes me is how shows like this manage to find an audience, when poor old Katherine Heigl still struggles to make it past 3 episodes.... perhaps she should try comedy because obvious the bar is incredibly low on what continues and what doesn't.So, if you're American or like American humour (lacks intelligence and wit), then go ahead, waste your life on this, otherwise I would suggest moving on and spending your time in a more advantageous way elsewhere - like walking the dog or watching paint dry.
