Synopsis

To carry out the biggest heist in history, a mysterious man called The Professor recruits a band of eight robbers who have a single characteristic: none of them has anything to lose. Five months of seclusion - memorizing every step, every detail, every probability - culminate in eleven days locked up in the National Coinage and Stamp Factory of Spain, surrounded by police forces and with dozens of hostages in their power, to find out whether their suicide wager will lead to everything or nothing.

lally_malita My boyfriend and i got really caught into this series, it's just great and full of unexpected moments. You just can't guess what happens next. The actors are awesome, each one of the main characters plays their role so authentic. I love that Netflix used the original language and didn't double it in English, this way all the emotions are brought 100% into the series. Great job! Unfortunately we have to wait until 2019 for the next season :(
venicequeenn Just that. Best series ever, recommended to everyone, you won't regret it!
tokyorun Yes, this is my all-time favorite TV/Netflix show, which is saying a lot. I just loved it - I can't understand why some people didn't like it. The plot is interesting and keeps getting more and more so. The characters are varied and unique. There are basically 12 main characters, all of whom you get to know well, and come to like or not, but in any case become really interested in. What's great about the show is that the relationships, the dynamics between these characters - the heist crew, the hostages, the professor (leader) and the policewoman - keep changing with each episode. You're never sure what's going to happen next, and it's always something interesting (usually several things). Also, the show is only two seasons long, so it doesn't get stretched out, requiring long, boring sections, as for example Breaking Bad in seasons 4 and 5. What's more, _everyone_ I've recommended this show to has also gotten really into it, emailing me saying things like, Who was your favorite character? I liked Tokyo but now I love Nairobi...etc. (The heist crew call each other by city names.) Seriously, I can almost guarantee you're going to love this show.
