pieterwesselsbiz This movie is awesome. End of story. It's got everything you'd want from 300 and more. The naval warfare aspect was sweet and refreshing. This sequel does a fantastic job with cinematic continuity. Almost feels like Snyder made it himself. Well done to Murro on the direction and execution. An enjoayable sequel and a fun time at the movies!
jawneyfloros Director: Noam Murro Screenplay: Kurt Johnstad and Zack Snyder Based on Xerxes by Frank Miller Cast: Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey, Hans Matheson and David Wenham Plot: A Greek general goes up against a Persian general turned god. Review: I really didn't like this movie because it lacks the edge of the first movie. The direction and screenplay really aren't all that great. The casting and acting really aren't that great either. All in all I would give this zero out of a possible five stars.
mahdikhorsand The movie is exactly opposite of truths and history , super one sided battle scenes super terrible story line wants make greeks good people and hot as the persian commander has sex with a greek general, omg funniest joke in human history , i can say director even has personal problems with persians plus mental problems , if u know persians ladies will fight till their last breathes and in persian culture they never have good vision about foreigners , imagine now in a battle a persian women with that high skill and reputation even smiles on a greek lol i wanted to tell the director to visit change the movie genre to comedy and then i can say the movie is great.
cinemajesty Movie Review: "300: Rise Of An Empire" (2013)As all wars begin with a mortification of dying father's son, Xerxes, reprising actor Rodrigo Santoro, sends his deadliest instrument in shape of forged by rape, abuse, tortured then trained-in-swordsmanship character of Artemisia, viciously portrayed by actress Eve Green, to take on the remaining splintered clans of the Greeks after the fall of Leonidas' "300" (2006) directed by Zack Synder, who had been indisposed for this production due to his non-stop involvements into the DC universe since 2011. His substitute director has become Noam Murro, who presents no signature of his own, even if the screenplay also written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad gives plenty of opportunity to exceed the phenomenal original "300" based on Frank Miller's graphic novel series. The 90 Minutes gamble of endurance in a wish to unite all clans Delphi, Olympus, Sparta and the others to defy the Persian Superpower, gets decide in a five minute scene in a interior Persian attack ship's cabin between the characters of Artemisia and Greek-leading Themistokles, pale and uninspiring performed by actor Sullivan Stapleton, who nevertheless had a moment to shine with actress Eva Green, when the sharpness of a man's sword translates to the sexual interaction between the two characters, when Artemisia rightfully suggests to join forces by dying every night with a tight sleep in a female's flawless anus to get awaken to life every morning by the sharpest penis as sword allegory in a matching heath of a war-mongering showdown of doubled-budgets in fire-breathing, ships crashing, even underwater sea monsters glimpsing proportions.© 2017 Felix Alexander Dausend (Cinemajesty Entertainments LLC)
