When this movie first came out, I was noting some pretty negative reviews/ratings for this sadly executed production. I was thinking "haters ..."Well, Storm Reid is excellent in the child lead. Everything else about this movie seems forced and/or stilted and/or fluffy shock. This is a film I wanted to defend and wanted to like. My "5" rating is a little on the generous side.
Folks, you can "iron out" a lot of wrinkles. Not in this case. This wrinkle is a rather permanent waste of time; hence, my word "Wraste."

I've quite honestly never read the original books, but i feel like if i did it would be a completley different experience! Other than a few well acted sad moments this film was very average. Its quite hard to follow, the characters are so vague and the story doesn't actually make much sense! Don't think i will be watching it a second time....

One of the best movies I have seen by far, I really wanted a move that is so deep in the brilliance of our universe. But to be understood, people need to be more open and to have more knowledge about so many aspects of our beings.
Maybe a lot of people are still in their own limitations that they can't comprehend such Devine explanation for our own inner world and what happens inside of our soul in relevance to what happens outside and How our perception about ourselves matters.

On 18 July 2018 I received and email from IMDb with the following information: "With the year more than half over, what are the best movies of 2018? Here are the favorites from the IMDb team". "A Wrinkle in Time" is one of the foregoing list. The worst, I believed in this information since IMDb used to be a serious site.Yesterday I tried to watch this flick but it is unbearable. I challenge any viewer with brain to watch this garbage to the very end. The awful cast is laughable, highlighting the Afro-American daughter and the Latin American son of the Latin-Afro-American-Caucasian family (a plus fashion in the present Hollywood) and the ridiculous giant Oprah Winfrey in a mermaid costume. The screenplay is among the most boring ever written. The result is an overrated boring film. My vote is one (awful).Title (Brazil): "Uma Dobra no Tempo" ("A Wrinkle in Time")
