Zentaurion This movie is a milestone in Hindi Cinema. It shows that Bollywood can match Hollywood in terms of churning out vacuous yet big budget action flicks. Nevertheless, while for now the audience may be divided as to cheering or jeering it, in years to come it will be celebrated in the "So Bad, it's Good" category, with an inane script and dialogue that draws out uninvited laughter. The only way to be entertained by it is to make fun of it to entertain yourself. But the stars have made the most of it and look their glamorous best here. Hrithik Roshan's charisma and looks carry the movie while Abhishek Bachchan's stoic hero gives grounding to the extravagant set-pieces. Aishwarya Rai gives the most atrociously misjudged performance of her career. What should have been more of a hot Michelle Pfeiffer-as-Catwoman role became a Halle Berry-as-Catwoman role. That's if Halle Berry mixed up her notes with Alicia Silverstone's for her role in Clueless. Bipasha Basu lends a hand in disposing of any credibility left to the story. Both look amazing though and Bipasha especially gets credit for not glamorising anorexia. The movie doesn't have the same infectious sense of fun that something like Main Hoon Na has but it's worth a watch as long as you keep one finger over the fast-forward button.
angelshalz Dhoom 2 is a fast film with many stunts, many dance moves and unfortunately a few problems. I thought that the plot came across as strange and the ending was just not right. It seems more like a leeway to show off Hrithik Roshan and Aishwariya Rai's bodies than an action/detective movie. And with Abhishek B. and Uday Chopra running around in the background treated merely as non-original humor-arousers, Rai and Roshan attract the most attention. Although their ostentatious attraction for each other is sizzling, their feelings in the inside are not worth the watch. It is only confusing. It's like… "I am using you…NO wait I actually love you! Because your gorgeous and a spy…OR not because of that…." Honestly…I saw this movie five months ago and that's the only thing I remember from it. Aishwariya Rai's body is wow but her acting is average, especially when she decides to talk like a western bubblehead. Hrithik Roshan looks good but cannot save the film from it's lameness. The songs are in the same nature of those in Dhoom 1.
dutta_bond I found Dhoom 2 is an excellent movie. The reason it Its the best Hindi movie I have seen till now. The story line is awesome and you can not look elsewhere the way events are followed one by another. Every time you will surprised by the event and thrilled as well which is very uncommon in Hindi movies. This makes you watch the movie multiple times. Leading actors are extremely fluent in their roles and that what I look for in a good movie. Though there are some unpractical effects but they are very much acceptable as long you find them practical while you are watching the movie. The way hrithik acted made us believe is those actions. I think the main purpose of this movie is to entertain people and thats what the title says also. Its in top that category no doubt....dhoom2 rally rocks.
nagendra_pratap_singh This movie was nominated for best stunts in the TAURUS FILM STUNT AWARDS in the foreign film category. Stunts cannot get better than this. So the stunts are A grade.I have not seen the movie but just the stunts which were shown in that awards ceremony and hence I am giving this movie 10/10. The music is good and Dhoom Machale song has been a hit even in far east.I am not aware if this is common for any Indian movie. If it is common then the movie is yet another Indian movie. "Mathrabhumi" is a sad story on the sad conditions in India. "Ab tak Chappan" is good but based on crime branch of Mumbai (in case others don't know). All the movies cannot have the same theme.
