This is the first review I'm writing after over 5 years on imdb. Just so that I can save mankind from watching this abysmal movie. This movie is an absolute waste of time

Christina Ricci grows a set of bangs to cover up her high forehead and gets a role where she keeps her top on. She takes grief medication which causes her to be sensitive to subliminal messages of unknown origin....or is it the medication? Her only help is an on-line stranger, John Cusack in a hoodie, who happens to be at the same coffee shop as her because the world is that small. Both she and the audience try to figure out what is going on and she doesn't know who to trust. We solve the mystery together. There are better films on the topic, although nothing that has been out recently. I liked the subject matter and Cusack in this role. I believe subliminal messaging is over stated as it was been demonstrated that a regular commercial will sell more product than a subliminal statement. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Don't look at the trailer or poster of this film. You may recognize the actors and wanna watch the film. Don't.
IMDB rating is fake because nobody gives more than 5 star to this.

I don't know what's wrong with y'all. This is a good movie. I kept kept waiting for the point I was disappointed. It didn't come. Ricci is great. Cussack is great. Plot great. Goosebumps throughout. It's not a multimillion dollar blockbuster, but do movies have to be? Come on! Maybe movie fanatics find fault. But I think I'm an average Joe and I thought it was great. Watch this movie. Thanks for making it. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
