Emre H Alptekin This movie is special because every time i watch i laugh again. I also catch alotof things i missed before, Great actors and great story. Each scene is like a classic. Nothing is exaggerated. Everything is very natural and great movie and i love to watch again, not only for comedy, very nice travel movie in general with scenes musics and all.
Ole Sandbaek Joergensen Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, at first I thought that can't be a good match, and it isn't, it isn't because they don't match but that's what makes it so great.I can't explain precisely what it is, but they are great together, really funny in each their own way. I don't hope Galifianakis is as bad socially as his character, but he plays the role so good, he must have had experience or investigated a lot :) And Jr. really is an asshole as only he can portray it, but has some really loving and special sides especially when he is stoned. They will definitely have a very special friendship from now one, both in the sequel and in real life.
ramsri007 I must be frank. This is the second time I am watching Due Date. The first time, I hated it. The 2nd time I found myself chuckling. Odd, I know but, I guess the movie sort of grows on you. The plot is reminiscent of 'Planes, Trains & Automobiles' But this is a fresh take. This is probably one of Downey's most laid back performances. Zack & Downey do make for an odd pairing. But, both are witty & engaging none the less. The plot is uncomplicated. Downey Jr. as an uptight architect who likes order in life. However on his flight back home, he is offloaded due to a set of misunderstandings and is stuck with Zack. With no luggage, No money, out of options, Downey is forced to embark on a road trip with Zack, to head home. With a crazy character like Zack, troubles follow. Some parts of the movie especially the prison part is kind of hard to digest. But with a crazy, wacky person like Zack, I guess we can take it with a pinch of salt !
ReviewBuff This movie had some great punchlines and some funny moments. But that did not make the rest of this movie any less dull! I had to stop watching this movie multiple times because the story just refused to move forward. Even Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis couldn't save this movie because the writing was so bad. I just completed the movie so as to review it fairly. The only thing good about this movie was that it came to an end. I spent most of the timing waiting for the movie to either get better or for the speed of the storyline to pick up. In one word, this movie was "Intolerable"!
