kjjames81 After sitting down for 3 hours I now have to say what I thought of this film. Firstly the bad points, yes it has to be said, the singing, in a film like this seemed out of place, I know Bollywood films have them in. The unintentional humour in it, it seemed to take the tension away from the film, which I think spoilt the movie. Okay the fight scenes were a bit over the top but it didn't bother me. The good points, Aamir Khan was very good in the role of the hero. The story, okay not original, but done very well. All the other actors and actresses done really well in their roles. This wasn't my first taste of Bollywood films, I had previously watched One Man Army, and it's sequel. After watching this, I will be watching more Bollywood movies, of the are in this area of film. See this movie if you have the time. Very enjoyable.
sunnyinsa93 Ghajini movie involves love, memo, & some almost superhuman fight scenes Its a good movie....its a movie that not only successfully made but successfully promoted also. Its completely entertaining & amazingly well made After watching this movie I realized that Indian movies has raised themselves in standard! Define it would be the toughest project for Amir khan Overall Ghajini is a great entertained packed movie!
silvan-desouza There have been several south remakes in the past, but Ghajini was one of the first official south remakes, The film was directed by same director A.R.Murugadoss, Also many actors were repeated especially the lead actress Asin who made her Hindi debut, Also Riyaz Khan and some few actors reprised their roles. The film was more famous due to Aamir Khan's physique look and hairstyle which was promoted extensively Ghajini is a remake of Tamil film Ghajini(2005) which was a superhit and the director almost keeps the film same throughout with minute changes by Aamir Khan in the climax and here and there. The film starts well, though at times some things are overdone(as in most south remakes), however Aamir's entry is superb, his scenes where he forgets things may not be logical but yet are good, the flashback too is well handled, however script wise there are several loopholes, but yet in such films such things do get overlooked The climax is rewritten, also the villain's twin part is changed here with only a solo villain yet the end is well handled though a bit hard to digest yet works well.Direction is good though the film is hardly changed from original Music is decent, though most songs have South flavour Kaise Mujhe is the best sonAamir Khan with his new physique look is superb in his role and plays the role perfectly, as the business tycoon he is superb, as the short term memory loss revenge seeker he is simply fab, Aamir's dedication is anywayz spot on, Though comparing him to Surya may not be right but he is brilliant Asin reprises her role from original and is superb here too Pradeep Rawat reprises his role from the original and is superb Late Jiah Khan is alright Riyaz Khan reprises his part too, rest are all okay
Angelus2 Sanjay Singhaniya forgets his memory every 15 minutes (Something like that) but some how he has been able to compile vast amounts of research and been able to track down the people responsible for the murder of his girlfriend, Kalpana and his memory loss...Jiah Khan plays a medical student who follows Sanjay, for what? I have no idea! I haven't watched a Bollywood film in years, but I remember the promotional work was quite enticing for this movie, so I thought I'd watch it..I found myself skipping an entire hour of the films so-called back-story...First of all, I'm bored of saying it is a copy of a Hollywood film (Memento) so I won't...The film has huge plot holes that are too numerous to name for example how is he able to fight so well if he forgets everything...and the concept of Sanjay being communications tycoon before was far-fetched....and then you have the acting..Jiah Khan and Asin are just awful.. the comedy is so painful. But one thing I hated above all was the random love story..it did not fit..I understand the reason..but it was not executed properly. And then we have the so-called epic 'Fight scenes' which are not very good at all.Apart from the song 'Guzarish' there was nothing else I liked.
