mbrand19971 I had been reading some negativity about Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana which some people are concerned she is going to be another Brittney Spears 10 years from now. Brittney is still young even though she has been around longer than Miley has and she herself was once a Disney alumni. Anyway people shouldn't get so bent out of shape about Miley being the next Brittney because she has a very strong supportive family behind her who I'm sure are protecting their daughter not to fall in the wrong hands of people that are going to direct her in the wrong path of show business. Thus far they're doing very well and everyone should just relax and let the family do their job just like every good family out there. The documentary does show you the phenomenal success Hannah Montana has become and many young people are really excited about this teen sensation. With the TV series attracting millions Disney put together this film so people will get a look at what she's like live in concert and there's no doubt everyone was really having a good time at her show screaming almost non-stop. The Jonas Brothers are another popular favourite among the teens that are also in this picture and this may had been their huge break cause they been touring with Miley for quite some time now and on any given night of their performance. They really are becoming a crowd pleasing favourite at Miley's shows. Not only does the movie see the happenings on stage they go behind the scenes as well which you'll see the whole crew rehearsing for the tour, getting costume changes for Miley & seeing her with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus learning a song that Miley wrote about her grandfather. This documentary may not suit interest for anybody but if people are fans of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. This one is for you.
horrormovieman89 OK. I'll be honest. I am a 19 year old guy who went to see this with a few on my friends(18 years old) and we enjoyed it immensely. Haha. I am quite fond of Hannah Montanas little poppy catchy songs(and I like hard rock music, go figure!) I was singing along with my friends and we just had fun. Thats what this movie is about, just have fun with it. The 3D was pretty good, made it feel like you were at a concert and all. Just plain fun. Though, my one issue is I really do not like how Disney exploits its stars at all. But none the less, the movie was just fun. :D Any little Hannah Montana fan will be fond of this, to bad its not in theaters anymore(even though this was Disney just trying to make more millions of its produce i.e-Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus).
aco8 This was very funny and entertaining. i throughly enjoyed watching .I have been to lots of live concerts and as my youngest daughter is only 11, I would still be cautious about taking her to a 'full on' live concert. However, this really was v close to that, given the 3D effects, and the great music. Yes, some of it may be a bit anodyne, but the enthusiasm on screen and in the seat next to me were v infectious and before long we were both singing and tapping our feet. The next best thing to the concert itself. We all loved the dads racing for four tickets in high heels. Our only criticism would be that we would have liked to see more of the behind the scenes stuff, but all in all a good fun hour or so for a mum and daughters.
dandrews1138 User CalinWins put the stupidest comment for a rating that I think I've ever seen. This is NOT a movie! It's almost like she couldn't tell that and thought it just had a weak plot. This is a concert folks, NOT a movie! It was the best video concert I've ever seen. And the 3-D was also the best I've ever seen. The price was extremely steep ($15 here in Ohio, even for a matinée viewing), but my girls were thrilled and I was surprised at how good Miley was.It was not "pure" concert incidentally, but had bits and pieces of documentary with the show.As a 41 year old man, I thought it was good, but would have rather seen Def Leppard of course, but my 11 and 7 year olds thought it was the bomb!
