Kirpianuscus A good story. and a bad use of it. not bad exactly, but unconvincing. because, having the first lines of script or a generous idea, the director has no the science to give more than a pale sketch about the frustrations of a young woman and the angry of a seller. the dialogues are bizarre, the victims - almost zombies, like the cop. so, only good intentions. and the effort of Lea Vonn to save her character.
Mjfranci It's only 15 minutes so maybe it won't hurt that much. Didn't like the shaky cam and extraneous sounds for no reason, lack of character development for protagonist, which made her actions seem erratic, lots of looking straight ahead/in the mirror before something substantial happens, and that last action there at the end... just dumb.Maybe if we knew more about the damages suffered it would be easier to understand that last decision but without that information, it seems like he just grew impatient. Didn't like this one.I wish the film maker will make a more balanced effort in the future, as well as discard junk editing techniques.
WakenPayne The reason why I sat down and watched this is because I always like seeing relatively unknown or independent filmmakers or even ones just starting out. I always find it interesting seeing what they can do. I did stumble upon this by accident but when I found out what it was - knowing nothing about the next 15 minutes - I decided to take a look. The plot of this movie is that a woman decides to rob convenience stores wearing clown make-up. Once she loses her wallet at one of the scenes the clerk becomes convinced it was her. The detective investigating it brings the wallet to her and asks if she saw anyone and she makes up the allibi that she bumped into the robber and took the wallet. She then does it more while the clerk becomes more and more obsessed with finding out where she is.If there is ANYTHING to bring down against this film is that for the first third of the film, it is used to set up character - yes but there is no dialogue. I mistook it for some kind of art-house short at first but then again - I'm kind of nitpicking with this.Everything else however is pretty well done. The acting was surprisingly good, the directing was spot on and I do like how this movie looks. I will definitely be seeing more Tara Alexis work because if this is any indicator - there is some talent behind this.I'd say find this and watch it. Tara Alexis has posted this on YouTube (along with her other work as a director) and this is worth a watch. Even if you don't like it this is only about 15 minutes long. So I'd say go see it.
