After the unfortunate death of a friend, two black people seek to fulfill a wish of his and finish their exams. Getting perfect grade, they end up in Harvard, where a new life challenge awaits them. As many people seek to get them kicked out, they will have to raise their game to the next level. It's an unique comedy which seeks to exaggerate almost everything it does and presents, bringing plenty of laughter along the way. The two main characters it has, flawlessly played by their actors, manage to excel at what they do and how they act, making sure to provide a good time for the viewer. Its story is ridiculous, to say the least, simply defying anything you would consider normal or even logic, but this is exactly what makes it special. It's not predictable or linear, it also isn't something stellar, but it does its job remarkably well. It has a bit of drama, it has a bit of emotion, but to be honest, you'll be seeing it only for the funny part.It simply is determined to make you laugh and it does its best in doing so. Although the path it chose might not be appropriate for everyone, or some might even consider it childish, it simply made me laugh at loud multiple times, providing a quality time overall. Even after seeing it multiple times, it still remains very funny and as a result, it's one of my favorite comedies of all time.To sum things up, we're faced with an excellent comedy which excels at making you laugh through its plot, characters and actors, especially if you're a type of person who can appreciate what this movie tries to do. It definitely isn't for anybody, but if you happen to be on the right side, you'll definitely have a great time.

How High is an brutal movie with an extremely stupid storyline a lot of really bad jokes, there was no part in this stupid comedy that made me laugh.Going into this movie I didn't really think it was going to be good, but it was even worse than I thought.I only watched it because me and my friend both have Netflix and he said I should check this out,I really don't understand how he liked it.When I was looking at the opening credits,I knew none of the cast, apart from Fred Willard, but I don't like him,but then I saw that Danny DeVito was a producer,so then I thought it myth not be that bad,but it was terrible.I hope he got paid well for being part of this disaster. This movie is stupid, not funny,a big depressing, and at times very racist,I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. One of my least favourite movies ever. Two potheads trying to get into Harvard smoke the ashes of their dead friend which makes them very intelligent.

For everyone who doesn't like movies about weed, stop reading this is not your movie. Some non pod smokers will think the movie is OK. But this is the 'CULT' movie of smoking weed. From the 1st scene till the last scene, this movie does not stop. There are none not funny scenes to built up the story. You could see is as one funny sketch after the other. The story basically is a guy Silas, who grows weed, and one day his friend dies. He puts his ash in his next plant, that he names after him(The Ivory, still want to smoke that one day). He meets another pod head at THC's(test for higher learning) and with the help of Ivory they get the highest score. And they choose the "Ivy" League atmosphere of Harvard. They turn Harvard up side down. I've seen this movie about 5 or 8 times, and we all dig this movie, this is the smokers bible!!!! What are you doing??? Get some grass and watch this movie!!! LOL!!

"How High" was one of those pointless, utterly asinine movies that has the ability to make you laugh in spite of how ridiculous the plot is. You can't get a more ridiculous plot than two stoners smoking their dead friend's ashes and then being able to see him.Even though Method Man and Redman aren't the best actors in the world, the movie fit their abilities. It was a silly movie that couldn't be taken slightly serious, so what's the big deal of having two rappers with mediocre acting abilities playing the lead roles? The movie was actually quite hilarious, and it got funnier the more times I saw it.
