The premise was great. There were some laughs and fun and some cringing. Ultimately this just didn't come together as a cohesive enterprise. Felt more like a series of vignettes with only some being enjoyable.

Okay so basically the story is just flat! parents killing their kids and kids running from there parents and thats it! not once did I laugh, so I don't know why it's categorized under comedy... and it didn't have and ending it just sort of ended! so stupid! Nick cage must have been high filming this! The only cool part was the girl rigging the matches to the door so nick could catch on fire... but it still has you guessing if the kids noticed the gas or not...and then nick wasn't even burnt??? very sloppy movie no point to it!

But it seems like I might have watched another with the same title, actors and premise as all of these low scores are just baffling, take an original idea and run with it, parents turning on their own children, this is a great little film, not much gore to speak of, most of it is just out of view.Perhaps these low scores belong to the looney left liberal brigade, I dunno.

Easy synopsis - a strange mania has taken over the land, making parents want to murder their children. Gory as hell, funny as hell, will be a cult classic.Easy way to explain the film - picture a zombie epidemic, but instead of zombies it's parents overcome by a virus (or something) that makes them turn on their kids and hunt them down to murder them. Movie is played as a dark comedy, and it has some fantastic scenes.Cage is way over the top and it works perfectly for the film.Recommend to watch this with friends while drunk. Tons of fun, non stop gore and carnage.
