rus_tony I watched the first movie, Valentine's Day, in a theater and honestly it was not good but thanks to familiar faces it was not a torture neither. However, this movie does not even have a topic except the BALL thing, and it is still not the worst thing yet. These movies are commercially successful, c'mon guys we don't deserve such empty movies with bad script. DO NOT WASTE your time.
chopperlilly I don't think there's enough adjectives in the world to describe this boring, predicable, clichéd abomination of a movie. It was on TV a few weeks ago, and thank God, because if I had paid to see this drivel, I would have been bitter about it for days, if not weeks. Storyline: There is none. Boy meets girls in an elevator and then..... zzzzzz....sorry I fell asleep half way through that sentence. Another one of the 50 story lines was.....nah couldn't be bothered even casting my mind back a few weeks to think about what the other story lines were.Cast: Loads of famous people, some who can act, some who can't. But that aside, any great acting would have been lost on the dismal excuse for a script. Comedy factor: It was so unfunny that....um......I tried to think of something funny to say to finish that sentence off but my funny has totally been drained from my body after watching this terrible movie. That's how unfunny it was. I actually feel a bit traumatised after watching NYE. It's one of those movies that is so bad you feel like your soul has been scarred and your once positive persona is now negative and bitter. Obviously, I'm exaggerating for effect. About being scarred - but not about how bad the movie is. It really is one of the worst movies ever made EVER. On the bright side.....no there really isn't a bright side. Oh wait: Yes, there is : I really enjoyed watching Jon Bon Jovi.
Paige Abril I watched it overlooking many down-siding reviews, and found it the same as the reviews were. Ashton Kutcher placed in movie alike always a psycho case. Katherine Heigl descried most idiotic and mishapped acting among all her career. In short to say, Plot was quite suspending between awful and ridiculous Acting was worse than ever. Moreover, interaction and connection between characters was weak. Can't find out actual and meaningful story. Sort of celebrity wondering in kitchen and got a slap, face was quite thing to see, worst acting, nothing to look alike more like janitor. finale, Garry Marshal it would be better not to make any movie smoking between valentine and new year eve.
Terryfan I watch this movie on TV because I'm a fan of Jessica Biel. You would think a movie with this many stars would be good well...You have Jessica Biel, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Cary Elwes Alyssa Milano, Seth Meyers, Jon Bon Jovi, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Abigail Breslin and Sarh Jessica Parker many more. You get a series of stories all taking place in one night on New Year's Eve in the city of New York.Like my review of valentine's day you get so many stars in one movie you can make it work or you can't.With New Year's Eve it's no difference.I'm not saying it's one of the worst movies out there it just another movie with so many stars that you like or you don't.The movie has it moments of enjoyment but some make you go Really? You have to have the right mind frame to watch this movie but again it's not bad it just in between. However if you're a fan of any of the stars I mention then you might find some enjoyment would make a good date movie. So all in all I give New Year's Eve a 6 out of 10
