OllieSuave-007 The Pink Panther, in the mist of a ferocious storm, seeks shelter in a deserted western town, ultimately lodging in the hotel. However, once checked-in, he gets harassed by a white-sheet ghost and a walking skeleton. What results are hilarious slapstick humor and somewhat creepy moments. There are plenty of action going on and some surprising moments, from the ghost sneaking up on the panther in the shower to the panther unknowingly getting into bed with the skeleton. It's the perfect little cartoon for a little Halloween-type night, with plenty of laughs along with it as well.Grade A
TheLittleSongbird The Pink Panther cartoons were part of my childhood, and I am still fond of most of them. Pink Panic is for me one of his better ones, if not one of his absolute best. The animation is a little more detailed and vivid than the usual elegant if relatively simple animation seen usually, which considering the story was a good move. The music is still jazzy and infectious yet also with an eerie tone that matches perfectly with Pink Panic's mood. The visual gags are plentiful and manage to be very clever and funny. The vibrant pacing, spooky atmosphere and cool Pink Panther spirit is also things to like about Pink Panic. Pinky is still a hugely likable character, still managing to be cool, smart, cute and funny, and I did also feel kind of sorry for him here. The story is quite oddball but still with the Pink Panther spirit, and the ending was a really nice surprise, not being too rushed or abrupt at all. To conclude, a spooky yet still clever and entertaining cartoon, Pinky fans won't be disappointed. 9/10 Bethany Cox
ccthemovieman-1 In the previous Pink Panther cartoon, the PP's stuck up in the mountains with nine feet of snow burying him in his cabin. Now he's in the desert in a place called "Dead Dog," which appears to be out in the middle of nowhere. There is a hotel, jail and saloon, but the sign says "Population: 0." Oddly, it's pouring rain. The PP goes into the hotel for shelter."Odd" is an apt word for this cartoon. Things never appear as they seem - at least at the end, after the PP, a ghost and a skeleton all do battle during the night. This was not a laugh-out-loud funny cartoon but still humorous and a lot of fun to watch. The eerie ghost music was entertaining, too. The ending is definitely a surprise.
Shawn Watson Caught in a rainstorm out in the desert (that cat sure does get around doesn't he) the Pink Panther takes shelter in an old hotel in a ghost town. But the ghouls ain't gonna make it an easy night for him and play loads of amusing pranks.Initially, Pinky is oblivious to the hauntings but when he sees the skeleton on his bed a madcap chase around the hotel begins. There's a lot of visual humor in this cartoon and it's a bit more vividly drawn than the minimalist nature of most Pink Panther shorts, which adds to the atmosphere of the ghost town. It's a shame to see Pinky constantly victimized wherever he goes. But he manages to take it with coolness.
