The movie at end made me really think to myself " like wow that's crazy" it happen all at once. This movie demonstrate how these men go to war and shows how were they back then like Color. If you like a little romance at the same time while watching the movie you will be a happy. Even if you don't it will show you skills, death and other exclusive things.The name of this movie is called Red Tails. The director of red tails is George Lucas and Anthony Hemingway. This movie was made in January 20 2012 in the USA and filmed in Croatia. One of the main characters is Joe little AKA " Lighten ¨ the others are Marty Julian and Andrew Salem. This movie is about men going to war, a little love and racism, you will see it for yourself. Plus these menIn the movie 13 african americans going to war,. They didn't have the best planes because the whites had everything. The whites and the blacks were working together which they didn't want to. The blacks wanted to prove they can do it well as they can. As the blacks being there had help them because they was protecting them including the bombers. One thing I thought was interesting was joe little aka Lighten. I felt as though lighten was a very strong, brave , confident and great man. Lighten stood his ground, was saving and protecting his brothers in the war. I love how Lighten got the job done. I recommend people to watch it because it's a very good movie. During that time you never see african american pilots or even whites and blacks working to together. The air battle scenes is something you shouldn't miss, its DEEP. kiarahall-18872 WRITE REVIEW BELOW: Was this movie worth it? In my opinion it was not because i feel like it didn't go into depth and only showed the exciting parts and the victory. I think there were more tough things that happend. Overall the movie could have been way better and you will see why i say this if you watch. The movie Red Tails came out in 2012 and made 50 million, written by John Ridley and directed by Anthony Hemingway. Some actors are Cuba Gooding jr., and Gerald McRaney, you would think the movie is awesome. Red tails had 9 award recommendations and won 2. It is rated 4.5 stars out of 10. This movie focuses on the tuskegee airmen, a group of all African American pilots during WWII. It shows segregation and problems they faced. As the movie begins it shows the relationships between a group of the fighters Marty " Easy" Julian, Joe "lightning" Little, Ray Gun and Smokey. The first part of the movie starts with showing how the Red Tails weren't getting any missions that involved actual fighting. As the movie continues it shows how they started getting opportunities to fight and protect some of the bombers. The best parts in this movie is the fighting scenes. The fighting parts and the sound effects seemed so real, that you will think it was real. Another good part is when Ray Gun got held as a prisoner of war at concentration camp, for me it showed a different side because I didn't know much about Prisoners of War. I would give this movie a 4.5 out of 10, it could have been way better and had so much more potential. In my opinion this movie is more entertaining than factual, i would recommend this movie to a group of 7-13 years old. There were some good parts like the fighting and that's about it. If i didn't know anything about the red tails i would have found it way more interesting. I don't think the movie showed much of the trails and hard times they faced, the film could have included much more on what they had faced being black pilots during WWII. You are suggesting

erikajefferson-33378 ¨ A crew of African American pilots in the Tuskegee training program, having faced segregation while kept mostly on the ground during World War II, are called into duty under the guidance of Col. A.J. Bullard. ¨ I feel as though reading that part alone makes the movie a great movie because there are not a lot of movies with the starring roles as african american black men as the stars . The movies talks about segregation and how bad it was during WWll , A black getting together with a white women, the black men getting crappy material, treated bad by other WHITE pilots and etc. and to watch that movie and see that they didn't want help during the war, why were they trying to belittle them and trying to deny them the right to fly . SO I think this was a Great movie !

rdoyle29 This film opens with a CGI aerial battle that is literally of the quality I would expect from a direct-to-DVD film by a company like The Asylum. It's shockingly embarrassing for a theatrical release with a $58 million budget. Even the font used in the titles smells like a no budget film. It does get better than this, but not as much as it should. Explosions are all CGI and don't look like they exist in the same plane as the physical objects. Oddly, every German pilot in this film appears to be exactly the same person. Effects aside, this film is intended to play more like a 1950's era war movie than a modern one. That's a valid choice, but it doesn't play like a good one. The story is, on the face of it, an interesting one, but the narrative strokes are so unbelievably broad that the film really doesn't progress after the basic plot setup is done. Some of the actors do a pretty fine job given the one dimensionality of their characters (David Oyelowo is particularly good), but they have precious little to work with.
