Horst in Translation ([email protected]) "Roof Sex" is a very early short film from over 10 years ago by American Oscar-nominated animation filmmaker Adam Pesapane, better known as PES. As the title already tells, it is about a couple having sex on a roof. However, it's a pair of chairs actually and we see several positions while we hear them moaning. The male part was voice by PES himself. It's okay all in all, but he has done some better films. His movies are generally pretty short and same goes for this one here. According to the cast list, Chaka Khan voiced the cat at the end of this film. A bit of a strange inclusion I must say and the ending did not really do too much for me anyway. PES should have maybe not included that strange closing scene (maybe a pussy reference?) and just went with the chairs from start to finish, maybe with a funny inclusion such as a cut in the surface and some of the stuffing coming out the moment of the orgasm. However, I still somewhat enjoyed watching this short film and it's not a bad movie by any means.
MartinHafer This is one of many films in a sub-par collection of animated shorts entitled "Avoid Eye Contact: Volume One". While I didn't particularly like this short, I must admit that it was very creative and unusual. I truly can say that I've NEVER seen anything like this before!!!The film consists of stop-motion film work--it's not really a cartoon. On the roof of a building, two chairs are arranged as if they are people having sex. Through the use of stop-motion and sound effects (moaning), this is like a furniture porno film. It's clever and shocking but the whole experience becomes tiresome very quickly. Plus, who in the world would LIKE to see furniture doing this?!
