MissRattyOz Lets not mess about, this movie is pretty much tripe, but my 18 month old gal thinks its the best (except for the En Vogue song which she makes me FFwd every single time). I admire anyone who tries to actually properly review this movie - it has no plot line at all, Elmo is the strongest character (probably because he is the reddest). Gee, even the lighting looks cheap. But thats not the point is it. This is Sesame Street. It was just a cheesy storyline around some songs for kids to enjoy. The songs are really ordinary MOR, some of them are pretty awful, but at least they are not kids songs. I like it that she is listening to 'real' musicians (and Kenny Loggins). And, you know, I laugh every time when Bert says "What, like you guys don't carry your own seasoning". Maybe I need a drink.
Katrina Cleofe Although i am a die-hard cookie monster fan, i chose to watch elmopalooza. i came into watching it without expectation ( plus i was forced), and without a certain need to be fulfilled. and how did i feel after watching it? satisfied. why? because it's a muppet movie and i really don't think i should have any requirements that need to be set. elmopalooza was basically a bunch of muppets with cute songs and a couple of celebrities who didn't feel like acting. I don't need plot to enjoy a movie. especially a movie meant for kids. all in all... it was a good movie. pointless, but entertaining none the less. oh by the way, there are a lot of typos in my review and i really couldn't care less. it's not like i'm doing this for a living.
mysticmoon623 My brother is 2 and this is his favorite Elmo movie, and we have them all. Also, this is one of the videos that I don't mind sitting through. It's funny, and the music is catchy---gets caught in my head all the time...I highly recommend it...it's just too bad that it's so hard to find!
jlangbert I can put up with the bad acting. And the songs aren't all terrible. But why the slow songs? This is for kids. The best song is Mambo -- I end up playing it over and over -- the kids love singing along and shouting "Aye Aye Aye."
