adonis98-743-186503 Terminator Salvation The Machinima Series is based upon the events of T4 the movie but it's a prequel John Connor is never seen in here but there are a lot of references to his name the character that we get is Blair Williams which i thought she was pretty interesting from the actual movie and she's all by herself in here and she travels across the city looking for her next mission that the resistance is going to give her everything changes when she meets a hacker who is supposed to terminate who goes by the name 'The Ghost' and she tries to get him to join the resistance. Just like the movie and the game the premise starts to get a bit boring after a while with the machines that they have to fight which is the same dumb T- 600s from the film and they just ruin everything that they are in. Although this mini series has a lot of action, suspense and they used a bit of the classic Terminator theme. In the end T4: The Machinima Series is just like the movie before it with it's ups and downs it's an interesting story but also series. I give it an 8/10
MrBigDub As one who spends a great deal of time playing video games, I find this DVD awesome! To actually take video game elements and make a serial out of it is astounding to me.I won't give away much since the best way to experience anything "Terminator" is to see it for yourself. Here's just the basic plot: Before "Salvation" (but well after T3) Blair Williams is having some misadventures with a man who can remotely K.O. the machines. Moon Bloodgood sounds excellent as she reprises her role from the feature film and her male counterpart known as "Ghost" has some decent voice acting as well. The video quality really isn't a factor since everything was lifted from video games. If you enjoy gaming and find the Terminator franchise entertaining, this is a DVD to watch out for. Ten Stars!
Rectangular_businessman I was expecting much more from this animated adaptation of the Terminator franchise, which is mostly know for having a incredible visual aspect, always ahead of its time (At least the two first movies were an example of this) However, the animation of this series seems cheap, with poorly rendered characters and sceneries. The animation looks even worse than any CGI animated television show from Cartoon Network, for one moment this seemed like a video game from the middle of the nineties. So why I am giving this six stars, you may ask? Well, to be honest, the story was good enough, being closer to the original "Terminator film" (Being more thriller/adventure than action) with very few characters, but with very well developed personalities. The voice acting was quite good too, I would say that it was the best part of it. Even when this is not a masterpiece, it still worth a look. It is still better than "Terminator: Salvation", despite the poor animation.6/10
Krazykaleb-1 This is a unique film because it uses assets from a video game to create it's cinematography. The Action is balanced with very adequate character development of Moon Bloodgood's character Blair Williams and a new character by the name of Laz Howard. While at the same time fixing some plot gaps to the Terminator Salvation movie. For those interested in see something very unique and in it's very own way take a look at this experimental film. For if more film makers took this technique to heart some really amazing cinema can be made. This Series my be seen.10/10
