A few great actors were roped into what can only be described as the WORST movie Jack Black has ever made.
Lacking a coherent plot, and failing with every laugh this movie is about as devoid of comedy as a holocaust documentary.
I tried to like it and give it a chance, but it just got worse and worse as it went on.By the end I was sure they were using this film in Guantanamo to extract information from terrorists.
Just avoid.

I don't understand what people that this was funny...........drug abuse? drunken sex? etc etc etc.......frankly speaking this movie was a time waste event. See black was in this i thinking " WOW it must be great" its was trashy sex movie that seem to include the buzz of trans gender theme.........crappy and a worthless watch movie. I believe that trans-gender is a wonderful thing, but Hollywood is now junking up the movies with this concept Robin Williams is yet another trashy version of this type of movie..totally lost in the making and thinking people are stupid enough to buy into anything with top actors and actress in them...........YUCK!

This is not a comedy. You'd think with the cast, you'd be laughing the whole way through, but I barely chuckled even once. The trailer makes it seem like it's a funny movie, but it's far more dramatic, and not even the good kind of drama. A little ways in, Black and Marsden end up having sex and it becomes all about how Black seems borderline in love with Marsden. The great actors in this chose a terrible plot with this one. Don't waste your time.

The worst movie I've seen in a long time. I can't believe the two lead actors would even get themselves involved in something like this. It has absolutely no focus. It can't decide if it's a black comedy, a drama, a weird gay love story, a psychological character study... What?It has no direction and no meaning -- No one to root for and no one to care about. There was no hero nor villain. It was a complete waste of time. And I like Jack Black. Even when He steps out of his normal box. At some points, it is quite silly and comes across light and not so serious. Just as it gets to it's silliest, it tries too hard to take itself seriously. This was just hard to watch and a big mess of a movie.
