I think this is wrongly categorized as a horror movie. It should've been labelled a comedy movie. The acting is absolutely bad with two of the actors even seeming dyslexic at times. Wouldn't recommend to anyone ever. It has all the ingredients for a comedy movie. A group of friends which includes a pair of siblings who are over the top stupid, a loner guy, a record it all friend who uses a professional camera instead of snapchat and a support cast stupid Asian girl. Would surely recommend for comedy.

I normally hate films where someone has any type of camera and carries it around making the screen bounce giving you a headache, but I really liked this movie. The story line is actually very good it's almost two stories in one if you think about it because you have the current story and the past story rolled into one cause and effect. I think what really would have made this movie better though is if you did not have any of those scenes where someone is "recording" with their own camera. I am glad I made it past those scenes though because the movie turned out to be quite enjoyable. It makes you really think twice about ever playing with those boards again. This movie teaches a lesson on why you should always close your session.

"The Ouija Experiment" is one of the worst horror movies ever released on DVD. The film is amateurish with awful and low quality camera work using handycam and boring. The screenplay is ridiculous, with a stupid story. The characters are laughable: one shallow young woman that shags her boyfriend that is a wolf and gives a Rolex to him; the wolf himself that only wants to shag women all the time; his sister, maybe the most reasonable character; his friend that wants to play with a Ouija board with the three previous mentioned imbecile characters; and the student of cinema that wants to film the group to increase his Blog traffic. The direction and performances are amateurish. If the viewer rent this DVD and watch until the end, the result will be waste of time and money. My vote is two.Title (Brazil): "Ouija: Onde Tudo Começou" ("Ouija: Where Everything Has Begun")

Going to start out by saying that I saw this a month ago. It's a tad fuzzy. But I remember this film being insanely wonky on it's pacing, acting, writing, directing, editing, cinematography, sound design, editing, etc. I did rate this 1 star after all.The movie consistently throws twists at you and tries to shock you, only to leave you giggling at the screen. It's a jumbled mess of a film, and I really hope everyone involved looks at this film and says "Hmm... Glad we learned how to not make a movie."And that ending? Really? I do not mind switching to cinematic, but it has to be done well. It has to be engaging and clear as to what is happening. In this, it was jarring. I was unsure if it was cinematic for a while, until the camera angle changed. Also, last thing, the whole "I am the camera" thing, literally made no freaking sense.
