Pumpkin_Man This is an awesome remake! In my opinion, it's funnier and better than the original. Tim Allen does an awesome job at being a dog. It kind of reminds me of Freaky Friday. When a 300-year-old dog bites a deputy district attorney named Dave Douglas, Dave is turned into a dog. His family thinks he's busy with work. When he turns into a dog, he finally sees what their lives are like when his kids are at school, or thinking about getting a tattoo. When he turns back human, his wife doesn't believe his story, and tries to prove that Dr. Kozak is testing on animals. If you love comedy, Tim Allen, and dogs, you'll love THE SHAGGY DOG!!!

disdressed12 i have to disagree with the current rating of 3.9 this film has.i thought it was very entertaining.it was fast paced,funny,and touching.and it also had two very good morals,one to do with the importance of family,and the other one,i wont give away here,but i will say it is sometime of great relevance and importance on a much larger scale.Tim Allen was actually funny in this movie.Robert Downey Jr. also has some funny moments.there is a bit of rude humour,but nothing i would say is overly offensive.Kristen Davis was good,but she didn't get to show her comedic side.,and i felt she was under used.anyway.anyway,i laughed a lot during this movie,which i did not expect at all.i had very low expectations going in ,so i was very pleasantly surprised.call me crazy,but i give The Shaggy Dog an 8/10

Grissom66 When an accident turns him into a dog, Dave Douglas (Tim Allen) must find a way to become human again, all while learning what it really means to be man?s?and his family?s?best friend.Ugh this movie was a complete and total castastrophe. The kids in the theatre found it funny but a lot of the teenagers and adults kept finding ways to avoid watching this movie. I managed to keep going to the athroom and listening to other people bad mouth this film. I believe i enjoyed Underdog better then this.My advice is if you like going to see movies avoid this movie. It has made false promises in the comericials and lured us to the theatre just to drop this bomb on us.The Shaggy Dog 3/10
