NormJohn Early in this near future science fiction debacle you see a yellow cab pass a movie theater showing the movie "High Fidelity" which was released in 2000. It is a sign of the quality of things to come.When an actor delivers all his lines with the same emotional "punch" you can rule him out as a limited talent but when all the actors in a movie act at the level of a cheap porn film you have to blame the director. Credit to Kim Coates for at least trying to give his character some believable emotional reactions. Everyone else in this movie is stiffer than a two-by-four.This movie could have been much better. Considering that it started out with a pretty good idea it couldn't have been much worse

venusabove i watched this just the other night because it did sound like a good sci fi idea and although you might think the story sounds plausible u will also be critical with the special effects where in places it tends to alternate between good and bad. the cars for one thing are like ordinary!( i can override that u think!) but in the end u will be laughing at what is suppose to be a serious film but looks like an inside joke.. clearly the writer and directer have both a multiple personality disorder... sometimes the brains behind this film must have been sitting in a jar..verdict watch it once and find out

phaedrav X Change is pretty standard B grade cable TV sci fi but the mostly gratuitous sex scenes make a point of showing bare breasts in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Oh and there are some thoughtful ideas in the story as well.

Non9751 Overall, i did enjoy this movie. It has a little bit of sci-fi, action, sexuality (TASTEFUL IMAGES THAT DAVID LYNCH WOULD BE PROUD OF), and believable plot. The movie basically comes like this: A copr Exe, officer with high clearance level, needs to go to Cal. but is in NY, so he had to XCHANGE his body with someone else in Cal. to make it the fastest travel possible. He was suppose to have his body back later that day but was told the next day. The movie goes on, and calls the XCHANGE process FLOATING, in which at a party many people at a club, talk about having sex with floaters being very erotic and so on. He then meet this girl GLORY, and had sex with her. While this is happening, a terrorist some how managed to get a hold of his old body, and basically it is a race to get his old body back. Good movie but lacking in some sense.
