I binge-watched Bad Banks because it was THAT good. It's pretty high-brow i.e. I feel that you need to concentrate to follow what is going on if you are unfamiliar with the banking world; however, you come out of every episode feeling as though you've learnt something. Also, the suspense is great.

I watched the whole season one because it was recommended by a friend to me. In my opinion it has great camera techniqueand storywise the end of the last episode is interesting.
If you don't know anything about finance and business at all, you will be surprised and maybe entertained by this story. Otherwise it is boring and the "women are soooo discriminated"-attitude is annoying. Mention it once and concentrate on a real story, not everytime when it is possible.

It was painful getting through the first Episode. It lacks almost any kind of visual timing, composition, dramatization, choreography and editing concept besides this; every time someone speaks, cut to that person. The overall style is hectic and random. I would estimate an average shot-length of 1,64 seconds. It worked for the opening sequence but from that moment on it became pointless. The acting, camera and soundtrack, is average at best. Two stars for attempting to deal with the topic of the financial world.

As @albert-balvers said, this serie is excellent. I though I'd see some of the "overacting" and weird dialogs like he says but not so much.Oh, and Paula Beer, she blinks too much !Other than that, I recommend that serie.
