Im not into supernatural series usually but I really have enjoyed believe. This show has a way of drawing you in. Each episode builds upon the other and it keeps getting more and more exciting, thus leaving you wondering what's going to happen next. Johnny Sequoyah is adorable. What a great child actress. She has a bright future. Bo is BELIEVABLE! The series is moving in a very interesting direction and I want to see it grow. For the first time in a long time, there's a show with supernatural powers but in a good way. One where many families can enjoy a more modernistic semi-family like series.i loved that the show had a good focus on helping other people. The world needs more of that these days, and often times, what we watch and listen to influences people in the real world. I believe we need more shows that focus on good things such as helping others
even better, she has powers to do so. I loved it and along with everyone else, would think that this show should stay. There are too many stupid shows out there that waste airtime.

Another series closely related to Steven King's Carrie. The first couple of episodes were descent and then it was all downhill from there. A 7.3 rating? Seriously? Episodes 3 through 12 were painfully similar. In every episode a little orphan girl named Bo with unharnessed mental powers wakes up from a nightmare/vision knowing she has to help someone avoid death or find a loved one or whatever. In the meantime she has to avoid getting nabbed by this government aided sleazy scientist who wants to use her abilities as a weapon (Surpise surprise!). The only suspense to this whole charade is that the main clown she's running around the country with is her wrongfully imprisoned and now on the run long-lost daddy. My 8 year old daughter watched this crap and I had to watch while baby-sitting.Boy I'm so glad it got canceled.I'm sure the writers from this show will have a hard time finding another paycheck ever again

This is a show that definitely shows signs of executive meddling and Too Many Writers syndrome. Each writer had his own idea of what he wanted the show to be and kept steering the story in different directions. There are definitely good elements, but they just don't fit together coherently, and it ends up full of plot holes. The writers obviously didn't make this show their top priority (and I understand they are busy guys!), and kind of threw it together without paying much attention. Once Bo started having her Weekly Visions, it started to be interesting. I would have liked more of that, and less of the Orchestra/ government conspiracy stuff. The problem with Bo's powers is that she is always right and all the adults just need to shut up and do what she says, which makes it inevitable that they won't and she will continually be running off and getting into danger. It's repetitive and annoying. Omnipotence and omniscience as powers always make for bad writing. Superhero characters work better when their powers are clearly definited and limited; otherwise when they make mistakes (which are necessary for plot) they just look dumb.

William Tate (Jake McLaughlin) is a death row inmate. Mysterious Dr. Milton Winter (Delroy Lindo) gives him a choice and breaks him out of prison. Winter puts Tate in charge of Bo (Johnny Sequoyah) who is a little girl with supernatural powers and it turns out she's actually his daughter. Winter leads a team of former colleagues who let Bo escape from the tyrannical Roman Skouras (Kyle MacLachlan). Now the powerful Skouras is using police resources and other supernaturals to track down Bo.This show starts off with some problems. I never understood why Winter couldn't be more hands on with Tate and Bo. They're thrown to the wolves for no good reason. The good part is that Tate and Bo get to spend time alone together. Their chemistry is so much fun. The other problem is that the world is clueless to the supernatural powers. It is unlikely but more important, the show loses Believe-ability. It's also so derivative to so many other sci-fi shows. It's not a good thing to twist the show to bend the concept to fit this box. I do love the father daughter chemistry. If they could work out a simpler way to get to that point, the show would have worked out better. It's a midseason replacement that got cut rather early. I wish this could have lasted longer.
