I absolutely love this show! It is the best show I have watched in a long time. I literally watch it almost all day and rarely get tired of it. It is my currently my favorite show. Every single on of the cast members are hilarious. I love the topics because their very relatable.

I seldom ever watch "Blackish" because it promotes racism propaganda. I watched this evening as I was washing dishes and didn't want to miss Mayor..otherwise I would have changed the channel. In tonight's episode Season4 Episode4 Anthony Anderson character refers to his TV son Caucasian girlfriend as "Jungle Fever". Really?! Not acceptable. Are we going to tolerate this?. This television show and others like it written by African Americans (and there are quite a few) that propagate racism against Caucasians should be censored.Quite frankly, I'm tired of it. If the black community wants to continue to teach this to their children I will pray for them, but, I do not want it taught to mine.

This show definitely talks from a perspective that isn't heard as often as others, about some aspects of the black experience. For me, the problem is that it's like a debate with a 12 year old, the perspectives are often contradictory, the logic woolly, the ideas behind the arguments become incoherent very quickly. I also wonder if there isn't a misplaced sense of victim hood at play here (these characters, not black Americans) the kind that is at play all too often in society at all levels these days. It might work better in a drama.
