beachwoman-20131 I remember when the pilot was shown it says that Abbey moved back home with her twin girls but in season 2 episode 9, Carrie is having a birthday and she is now 10 yrs old. What happened???? Then I read in another site that one daughter is 9 and the other is 7.I had a feeling they weren't twins so why did they say it in the pilot?
iamruby-75286 Really enjoyed this show. Like the plot and the actors. Love the relationships that they have with each. A really good show to watch minus all the violence. Love the family feel and how they stick together. The scenery is outstanding and the characters are well developed. The only thing missing is diversity of any kind. Come on people, no diversity with friends, people walking in the street or even working in any of the businesses. None of any kind! That's not realistic. That needs fixing!
sarah_goodall I have never really watched any hallmark shows so have nothing to compare this too. The show is set in such a beautiful location. The story line is good and not to cheesy which is nice. The characters play their parts brilliantly and the show is easy watch but unfolds fast enough you don't get bored. The show is about a large family, all of whom are successful in their very varied careers, they have had a rough time of it in the past and their lives seem to have had some recent changes. These changes help the family come together and enjoy each others company and help each other out in their times of need.I hope they keep the series going and don't just drop it later, there is nothing more annoying than getting into a new show to only find they have dropped it later. I watch the show with all my family and they all enjoy it although my husband hates it, he can't watch shows like this they don't have enough happening to entertain him. The characters all have areas that can really develop and old relationships that need repairing. On the whole this show is a feel good show that makes for easy watching and the setting is just gorgeous, it makes me want to pack up and move.
MorganneLuse Hallmark seems to have finally learned something about show writing with its fourth original series. The pilot showed promise as the pacing was good, writing was engaging, characters were well formed and there was conflict! These are all huge improvements and if it remains this way, it will finally break Hallmark out of its recent original series slump. (Cedar Cove was canceled, the season finale of Good Witch was abysmal.) The pilot shows all the signs of a well done show. I only hope they continue down this path and have learned from their past mistakes and can sustain a show on real drama rather than the convoluted romantic slop they always lazily fall back on.
