pizzygod I have never taken the time to write a review, but this show is horrible. Last week I had to shut it off do to the Dr going out to the lobby to berate a man for not vaccinating his son (who wasn't even the patient) I am an ER nurse a Dr doesn't have time to see his own patients let alone yell at a family member in the waiting room. What really frustrates me if the patient doesn't want treatment and yet they continue to try to treat or lir about treatment! This does not happen! If you do not want treatment we are very happy to hand you AMA papers! ERs do not have time for these things! Why oh tell me why does the patient never leave the ER? They should be in the ICU but for some reason they are getting ECMO in the ER! This is not reality! I isuallu love all medical dramas and I wanted so badly to like this show but it has really gone over the top!

tlue-13809 I think the story lines set the stage for such terrible acting. I haven't seen such terrible acting since the Blairwitch project. The story lines are the worst I've ever seen in a TV show in ages (I'm 35 yrs old) thank God for DVR and the delete button. How are the writers allowed to come up with such story lines, it should be an abomination to medicine and television. I want to give the show a chance, but with no excitement, predictable story lines(replace the writers pronto), bad, just terrible/unrealistic approach to medicine (plz fire the medical consultant), poor acting by most of the cast (understands that it comes with experience but......), just a waste of a TV time and my DVR's space. There's no fixing at this point, just replace.

MB I'm really tired of medical dramas that treat one specialty of Doctor like they alone run the hospital and even MORE sick of pathology being ragged on. Without pathology you have no diagnosis or treatment plan. No staging for cancer. No blood transfusions (yeah that's right pathologists run the blood bank). No microbiology. No lab tests. Pathology may not be front and Center in the patients face during all care, but showing only "basement dwelling, autopsy happy, nerds" is not just a slap in the face, it's also disrespectful on so many other levels. Hospitals work based on teamwork. No one department does it all. For once I wish a show actually would show that. The acting is also meh... But that could improve. Maybe

hotrina89 I am falling in love with this show! i love a TV show that entertains and teaches at the same time. I happen to be a medical student and this show is so accurate! And I love how they show cases of rare or unusual medical cases. This show actually helped me remember some syndromes for my board exams! I love how the doctors, surgeons, nurses, EMTs, lab techs all act like a team and better yet, a family! Other shows might make surgeons talk down to nurses or undermine the doctors. But this show has everyone working together from different departments and specialties with such respect for one another and I absolutely love that! It's only season 1, can't wait to see what else they have in store!
