rogermewtehig-16564 Some years ago my daughter was injured by a "Wicksted" machine. The unit was in the light of my photos to be inspected by a separate investigator. We managed to get hold of maintenance reports and the reports had been forged, using for example a bank holiday as the date the machine had been maintained etc. However the day before the inspection was to take place in collusion with Zurich insurance, Diss council and the maintenance firm totally destroyed the machine and took all the part to a scrap yard where they were crushed at the request of the maintenance company. I knew the scrap yard and they confirmed this.So do not get too upset with poor insurance companies getting scammed, my daughter now has a pin in her ankle and her visions of joining the Army as an officer dashed. Not from what our solicitor told us, was this the first time Zurich had played this game!If the aforesaid parties want to do ought about the above revelation, feel free to contact.
loftyonthehill-69-847141 Caught a couple of episodes of this tripe while off work a couple of weeks ago. It's more one-sided totally unrealistic rubbish in the same vein as the BBC's other shameful daytime offerings Here Come the Sheriffs (a series following thuggish looking glorified bailiffs laughably making them out to be champions of the underdogs), Saints and Scroungers (a series demonising benefit claimants) and Caught Red Handed (a series that promotes the UK's surveillance society by showing how it does(not) prevent petty theft).Of course, C&S does not show the appalling lengths the insurance industry goes to when it comes to avoiding paying out quite legitimate claims. Nor does it show the hard sell it practices when contacting vulnerable pensioners. Finally, it fails to mention the massive profits it makes which is the real reason our insurance costs so much. No, instead we get a few examples of stupid people, whose voices have been disguised to sound like Marvin the Robot or Frank Bruno, making badly thought out fraudulent claims. Some for as little as £100.It's funny how the Beeb is thought of as a left-wing broadcaster when they turn out prejudice affirming trash like this. Perhaps it's all a secret scheme to kill off Tory-voting retirees by exposing them to the sort of thing that will induce seizures.
