rakesh_raja39 This show is absolutely stunning. It's a show which really impressed me a lot.Neil deGrasse Tyson steals the show with lot of animations which explains how the universe works. Though it's through an imagination ship, it is so inspiring to know information which he have not come across. This show is best recommended for those who are interested to know about the universe. I am eagerly awaiting for the next season.
tankace Cosmos: A Space time Odyssey is the remake of the historic series of nineteen eighty with Carl Sagan. The host is Neil Ne Grass Tyson ,student of Sagan and the second coolest astrophysicist alive after Steven Hawking of course. In a sense this series is a homage of a student to his teacher as he is now himself a teacher. The series more or less show us the development of science and the mechanics of each field from gravity to black holes and what it took for the people who discover them or invent the tools in order to be these phenomenons understood, in short a amazing and at times touching journey through space and time. What can I say it was epic and still gives me shivers through my spine. As for the effects in the show mind-blowing and beautiful and event the animation as the portrait the events ,dispute its simplicity ,was so well made that you forget that you watch something animated! Finally the scope of the series was presented excellently by Mr. Tyson ,as all these changes and developments shows us our place in the universe and makes you in the end more humble.Over all it was a blast to watch and I recommended to everyone ,with a interest in science (psychics, biology, mathematics, astronomy etc.)
IMBdUser1002 The Cosmos is a documentary that changes the way the viewer understands Earth, and our universe. The series passes through many topics, such as the scientists of our past, who contributed to our existence now. As well as the astro physics of how matter moves through the cosmos, or how our planet came to be the way it is. The Cosmos has an excellent host, who wonderfully captures your attention and respect. It contains brilliant use of CGI animation, providing stunning visuals of places we could only dream of seeing for ourselves. One of my favourite features is the cartoon-like animated scenes that portray real past events regarding scientists how had marvellous ideas of how space worked, and what their lives were like. If you want to challenge your brain with the most advanced scientific topic in existence, this series is an incredible show to watch. 10/10
deltaop Like Carl Sagan before him, Tyson, takes us on an epic journey of the cosmos. From the beginning of time to its predicted end, the story is beautifully told through impeccable animations.I remained glued to my screen throughout, taking in all the wealth of information presented before me. Never once did my scientific naiveté come in the way as complex concepts were elucidated excellently.I really loved the writing of this series which doesn't let the impression of the grandiose nature of our universe fade. Exceptional scientific discoveries that unfolded over the ages have been narrated stupendously. I particularly liked the episode concerning Michael Faraday - I think it was one of the best in the series.Conclusively, this docu-series is one of the best to come out in recent times. I will forever cherish it for the scientific enlightenment it brought in my life.
