elizabeth-12994 This is by far, the best TV show of all time. It is funny, clever and really catches your attention. It is a TV show that I've seen over and over and over. The cast are absolutely brilliant and I don't think you could have got any better than Samuel Barnett, Elijah Wood, Jade Eshete and Hannah G Marks. They all really played the part and were very convincing characters. The whole story was planned out right from the start and everything was well thought out. The whole thing about the clues and pararibulitus was so well planned, it was unbelievable. It was all so clever and as confusing as it was, that is one of the things that comes with it, and trust me it really works. It's amazing how everything, no matter how wacky and unnecessary it seems, it all makes sense in the end. The way all the clues are connected is also fascinating. The characters are brilliantly played. It is actually not just a detective show, but is also extremely funny in places, particularly Samuel Barnett's character as Dirk Gently. Both Season 1 and Season 2 are amazing and it just got better with each episode made. I think Max Landis did and expert job with turning the books into a series and couldn't have had anyone better to do it than him. I thought Elijah Wood really stood out as well, playing the character of Todd Brotzman in the most spectacular way. He is such a convincing character with some of the best moments in the series which he plays in the best way. Fiona Douriff was also wonderful. The whole series in general is just too great for words. If you haven't seen this series already, definitely watch it! The sad thing is, season 3 was cancelled so I hope, literally so much, that someone picks up this show again! NETFLIX PLEASEEEEE! Please watch this show as I'm sure you won't be disappointed. It is noting that this show is underestimated when it really shouldn't be because it is the best show ever! #savedirkgently

mchristd This series is so out of the ordinary, thankfully. Scenario and turn of events are just brilliant, mixed with fun, anticipation and a rewarding sense of fullfilness as you watch the series. In my opinion this is a "must-watch".

emymoore Alright, I nicked that title off of the greatest showman but seriously, this show celebrates weirdness and individuality in a way I've never seen before while remaining interesting, compelling, colourful and hilarious from start to finish. there's not many shows I connect to deeply, but dirk gently's holistic detective agency definitely holds a special place in my heart and I'd recommend it to anyone.not only is it a brilliant TV show but it has wonderfully positive poc and LGBT+ rep and never relies on offensive humour to be funny. (something unfortunately not all shows can relate to)just watch the first episode, and if you don't fall in love immediately, well, it's your loss.
