Reviews

srshelby It is of interest that this show is sponsored by Planned Parenthood who murder unborn babies, yet sponsor a Vet who saves animals' lives. How shameful of you, Dr Jeff. I will not watch another episode.
turtlesbeadedpath First off, sorry to write a bad review, but I thought it might be helpful to someone considering taking their pet to Planned Pet Hood. The price is listed on the sign-in sheet, but then a Rabies shot cost twice the amount listed, extra $ for a "tech fee". You have to pay BEFORE your pet gets a vaccination. Made me feel like they thought I might run out on the bill. Then it was time for the shot and someone carried a dog out of the back room that was crying in pain. The so called "tech" got nervous and poked my pet with the needle twice, without giving the shot. In a human medical situation, only two tries are allowed and then someone else has to administer the shot. The real disappointment was the "tech" lied and said, "I didn't already poke him twice." I didn't see Dr. Jeff, just the "tech", but one more thing - Planned Pet Hood makes you sign an agreement to have your pet spayed or neutered if they're going to treat them.
jstb-57916 Dr. Jeff and his staff are caring, kind-hearted miracle workers - that aren't out to fleece pet owners! They love and care for all animals that cross their paths, with the animals being their top priority (instead of what the owners think needs to be done). I would love to clone him and his staff and have them move to SC! We have no vet that is more concerned about providing excellent care to animals than getting as much money as possible. As everyone knows, pet owners with limited funds limit trips to the vet as much as possible. When faced with astronomical pet expenses to get them better, some people are left with either none or very limited choices. Dr. Jeff knows this and cuts his profit (does he make any?) so the pets get the best care at the best price! I am amazed at the surgery, the care, the love and how they all go above and beyond what is expected! Every show teaches me more things about animals! Dr. Jeff (and staff) - if you ever want to leave that gorgeous scenery and move south, you'll be welcomed by open arms! Open another office maybe? Just hoping!
lidaz1 Love, love love this show! Of course I'm teary eyed after every episode. It's so refreshing to see such good people putting animals well being first & not turning them away. Being a widow, I wish there were more single men like Dr Jeff & too bad he's married. It's amazing to see how the staff interacts with all the animals, I feel like I'm right there with them. You see so many different animals & what goes on between all of the staff & how they handle the unique situations. Dr Jeff is so dedicated to the animals by putting them first & going out of his way to the different areas away from his town to treat them & doing what has to be done for the health of the animals. Such a dedicated doctor with a heart of gold. If I miss a series, I make sure I watch it On Demand. I am so happy that I found this show & will continue to watch it. I've spread the word around here & know others will be watching. Thanks to Dr Jeff & all his wonderful staff for all the love & kindness they give to our furry friends.
