Synopsis

Once a powerful lawyer, Billy McBride is now burned out and washed up, spending more time in a bar than a courtroom. When he reluctantly agrees to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit against the biggest client of Cooperman & McBride, the massive law firm he helped create, Billy and his ragtag team uncover a vast and deadly conspiracy, pitting them all in a life or death trial against the ultimate Goliath.

Reviews

susanrod Listen to all of the other reviewers and run, don't walk, away from Season 2! Season 1 was great, outstanding suspense, good characters, I couldn't wait to see how it turned out. Season 2 was pointlessly violent and just made no sense at all. The ending is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen and made me mad that I had wasted 8 hours watching the whole thing. Amazon needs to stick with what works like they do in their other original series, like Bosch. It gets better and better. Goliath, on the other hand, has just been thrown in the trash heap. I'll never watch it again.
kmckenna45-129-341256 Season One was stellar - but Season 2 has me shaking my head. Really, really bad writing/story. If viewed as a surreal TV Series - it works like a long, disjointed dream. I really wished Season 2 ended with William Hurt waking from his last dream. Unless it was an intential homage to some classic films, like "Freaks" - it's just a POS. I actually felt sorry for B.B. T. - I'm sure he got paid well - but he deserves much better content than this.
vineethnarayan-50059 Watched season 1 and i can't go for season 2. season 1 was entirely boring.
crypticcrytic Season 1 was decent and gave me the interest to follow into Season 2. I stuck with it through the bitter end and am sad I did. Not up to the cast or David Kelly's reputation. Not sure that Thornton got a copy of the script before shooting.
