The story started out nice with a female doctor in the lead role trying to earn respect of a small town. The series then evolved into so much drama and all the characters sleeping with each other that made it look like a small town is full of little options and everyone gossips and cheats on each other. The small town and charity events and respecting their town is great, but the show got out of line by trying to make it a soap opera....tune in next week to see who sleeps with who.

I suffered through the horrendously massive amount of country music in the first episode and I'm glad that I did. I had no idea that there was that much country music in the world lol. So keep watching, the second episode and the third episode will give you a better idea about what it will be like. I moved to a small country town after living in large cities my whole life, so I can relate to the plight of Zoe Hart and the quirks of a small country town. It's a great show.

The entertainment value is good, but seriously people, we aren't in the 1960's anymore, nor are we in Savannah, GA. Get the accent right...just the opinion of one real, live Bama girl.I was born and raised in the heart of Alabama, literally, the heart of Dixie. The only time I hear an over-pronounced accent like that is in the very unreal movies or in footage from the days of Martin Luther King, Jr.I truly like the story line of the show, but I have a hard time listening to the actors speak. And this is coming from one of the key viewers for this kind of show, a young woman in the South. I can only imagine what other southern women think. So, Hollywood, or wherever this studio calls home, please spend more time on speech (like you did with Jean Smart), or hire some actors from the actual South. I know they exist...Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, and Reese Witherspoon, just to name a few.

Just a really fun and sometimes out there show. Fun characters and some good laughs.Zoey Hart is a NYC doctor moving to the deep South. She meets her landlord and best friend Levon who is also the mayor and former football star. The love triangles are fun and sometimes you just want to shake the characters. The character relationships are sometimes not what you would expect. If you take things to serious this isn't for you. If you want something fun, light and easy to watch...go for it!!Highly recommend for just a good show.
