Brandi is a 21-year-old go-go dancer who hopes to pursue a career like her idol's, Carmen Electra. Brandi knows that plastic surgery is the ""cutting edge"" she needs to perfect her Carmen look and is getting breast implants, lip injections and a nose job to make her look like her favorite star. She hopes having Carmen's body and breasts will ""electrify"" her modeling career and help her chances of posing for Maxim Magazine just like Carmen. In addition, Brandi hopes plastic surgery will finally convince her ""guy friend"" to give her the commitment she's been longing for, since he is a ""boob man"" and a huge fan of Carmen's.

EP2 Jenee (Tiffani Thiessen) Apr 05, 2005

Jenee is a hair stylist from Long Island who dreams of looking like actress Tiffani-Amber Thiessen. Jenee believes posing for Playboy will give her career the jump start it needs. She is always mistaken for and considers herself Tiffani's biggest fan. Jenee does everything from studying Tiffani's make-up technique to watching every career move she makes. Jenee hopes getting breast implants and liposuction on her stomach, back, butt and thighs will perfect her body. She thinks surgery will give her the confidence to expose her body at a photo shoot and to send her pics into Playboy.

EP3 Jay (Arnold Schwarzenegger) Apr 12, 2005

Jay is a 23-year-old Long Island student who, while not ""obsessed"" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, has always admired his perfect physique and chest. Jay has modeled his diet, body building and lifestyle after Arnold's--yet his Gynecomastia holds him back from achieving that perfect Arnold chest. He considers plastic surgery his only hope of terminating his ""man-boobs"" and winning him the girl of his dreams.

EP4 Kelly (Jennifer Aniston) Apr 19, 2005

Kelly is an extremely outgoing 26-year-old who is absolutely infatuated with Jennifer Aniston, whom everyone says she resembles. She buys clothes to match Jennifer's and owns all her movies. Kelly just divorced her husband and really wants to find a new man and start fresh with a new, ""hot"" body. She hopes that having rhinoplasty, breast lift and augmentation and extensive liposuction will help her finally be comfortable in her own skin. She dates frequently, goes country dancing with her girlfriends and yearns for the confidence to wear string bikinis so she can find her own Brad Pitt.

EP5 Crystal U (Britney Spears) Apr 26, 2005

Crystal is a shy, single 24-year-old Britney Spears look-alike who lives a normal life. She has a comfy office job but secretly desires a different life. Crystal thinks bigger breasts and a nose job will give her the confidence she needs to become a stripper. Not only that, playing up her similarities to Britney will allow her to impersonate the superstar when she finally hits the pole. Even if she doesn't go through with the stripping, she feels a makeover will help her land a job with the Anaheim Angels Strike Force, a sexy dance team that entertains the crowd between innings.

EP6 Martin (Ricky Martin) May 03, 2005

Martin is an outgoing 18-year-old college freshman who wants to look like Ricky Martin. He's hoping plastic surgery can get his longtime dream woman Marita to add some ""benefits"" to their platonic friendship. He thinks Ricky Martin's strong features are just what he needs to overcome Marita's lack of romantic interest and convince her to live ""la vida loca"" with him.

EP7 Nikicia (Janet Jackson) May 10, 2005

Nikicia is an aspiring singer/actress who hopes a Janet Jackson makeover will improve her look and marketability. She had liposuction nine months ago, but it only succeeded in taking off five pounds and angering her husband, who considered the procedure a waste of money. Although she is starting a Web site promoting independent singers/actors, Nikicia still doesn't feel comfortable enough to post her own pictures. She's hoping that surgery to give her a body like Janet Jackson's will give her the confidence she needs to make it big.

EP8 Crystal Z May 17, 2005

Crystal is a 23-year-old Hawaiian Tropics Model who'd love to look like her idol, Brooke Burke. Although she's competed in many modeling and beauty pageants, Crystal is very self-conscious about her body and has always needed to stuff her bra to feel confident. Crystal works nights as a ""beer tub"" girl and has been told she resembles Brooke Burke, who, like Crystal, is a mix of different ethnicities. Crystal hopes having surgery to further this resemblance will help her be as successful as Brooke.

EP9 Jamie Jan 01, 0001

Jamie is a 19-year-old punk rocker who dreams of resembling her childhood idol, Posh Spice. Jamie goes to college part-time, where she majors in Human Sexuality. She's hated her nose for a long time and now it's time for a change. While most girls her age save for a car or school, Jamie has been putting money away for plastic surgery. Her mom is afraid she'll become obsessed, but Jamie feels she's very realistic about her expectations. All she wants is a nose like Posh Spice, who she's loved since her days as a young Spice Girls fan.

EP10 Audrey Jan 01, 0001

22-year-old Audrey hopes plastic surgery will help give her bodacious, Jessica Simpson curves. Audrey currently does a little modeling, but feels her body has prevented her from getting the more glamorous modeling jobs. She's also very jealous of her sister, a Hooters girl with breast implants. A huge fan of Newlyweds, she thinks plastic surgery can help give her Jessica Simpson's body and flawless skin and salvage her modeling career in the ""Nick"" of time. Also, a new look would help her steal some attention from her sister and move on from her annoying Hell's Angel boyfriend.

EP11 Vived Jan 01, 0001

Carmen Electra is also idolized by Vived, a 23-year-old dancer who designs clothing for Barbie dolls and for her own clothing line. Carmen is her idol because of her success as a model, dancer and entrepreneur. Vived also wants her body to measure up to Carmen's, and thinks that breast implants and liposuction will do the trick. Vived hopes that plastic surgery will allow her to model in ""Playboy,"" just like Carmen. She also wants to feel sexy enough to model her own lingerie.

EP12 Gia Jan 01, 0001

Pamela Andersen's look is the one that Gia--a 26-year-old transexual porn star turned director/producer of her own adult films--is going for. Inspired by her friend Cindy, the ""Human Barbie,"" she's had over a dozen procedures and is going under the knife again to get a new set of breast implants, lipo on her abdomen and chin, another nose job, micrografts to her hairline and fat transferred to her smile lines. She loves Pamela Anderson and hopes plastic surgery will perfect her Pam look so she can leave the ""adult industry"" behind to break into mainstream acting--just like Pamela did with Baywatch.

Reviews

joelfowleraz The people highlighted in the show were not having surgery to look exactly like the featured celebrity. They were people already set for surgery who were part of a trend MTV News was documenting. They brought in pictures of celebrities with features or attributes that they wanted to simulate. (ie: Angelina Jolie's lips, or Jennifer Lopez's teeth) I think MTV brilliantly named the show "They Wanted a Famous Face" for its shock value. So much so that even the celebrities wanted to "save" the surgery patients from becoming like them. Hilarious!
gluba2000 This is the most pathetic shows I've ever seen.MTV documents the lives of those who want to look like their celebrity idol. Whether it's to enhance their image (to become "cute") or if they just have an extremely unhealthy obsession with that celebrity. The people are so pitiful. It's so sad and pitiful to see that they'll take those lengths and risks of getting plastic surgery to look like their favorite celebrity! And when they're new look is revealed they don't even look like that celebrity! These twin brothers both got surgery to look like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise (one of those guys) to get more girlfriends and to enhance in their modeling career (I'm not sure about that because I can't remember the episode too good but that's probably the case too.) Well they looked NOTHING like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise but deformed and like transvestites. Then it showed them back at their house with some girls and they were like "oh my gosh! They look AMAZING!" (words can't describe how stupid that comment was.) These nutballs that get the surgery to look like the celebrities should be locked up for life! It's nuts that they'll spend the cash and time to do that! The episode has (if I remember right) one person who is about to get surgery, one who has gotten surgery but didn't like the results and/or had medical problems afterwards, and I believe it also had another person who was going to go under the knife to look like their famous idol. Not for the faint of heart because it shows parts of the surgery. The actress Kate Winslet hates this show (because in particular, one girl went and got surgery to look like her too; she didn't look like Kate either!) I hate it too...it shows how pathetic, ignorant, and stupid some people are in our society that they'll go to those extreme lengths.
overtheedge27 All, that I can say when I watch this show is "WHAT THE %#$@ IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!" That's not just referring to the people who get the surgery, but to whoever the sleazebags were that green-lit this show! And to think only, a few years ago, MTV was the network that aired "Daria", a show about people accepting themselves as individuals regardless of appearance, and they're airing a show about people who obviously have very low self-images, otherwise they wouldn't be doing this, and exploiting their adventures going under the knife (complete with all the blood, guts, and gore) just so they can look like a celebrity. And what was up with that guy that wanted to look like J-Lo? That guy needs help!
