Synopsis

Seth Meyers, who is "Saturday Night Live’s" longest serving anchor on the show’s wildly popular "Weekend Update," takes over as host of NBC’s "Late Night" — home to A-list celebrity guests, memorable comedy and the best in musical talent. As the Emmy Award-winning head writer for "SNL," Meyers has established a reputation for sharp wit and perfectly timed comedy, and has gained fame for his spot-on jokes and satire. Meyers takes his departure from "SNL" to his new post at "Late Night," as Jimmy Fallon moves to "The Tonight Show".

Reviews

jd93 Most of what you hear on late night is real news mixed with some well placed sound bites and made up punch lines for comedy... But Seth, he goes beyond the made up punch lines and tries his hardest to use those sound bites and irrelevant clips to deceive people. His show is 100% propaganda. He should take a page out of Fallon's book and lighten up...a lot.
radbonz-474-801505 Love his show. He's spot on calling out president on all his lies and BS. His corky comedy jokes/skits are what you expect from him. Some of the jokes are out there but that's how he does it. I always get a laugh when watching his show. I was lucky and got tix to see his show and the experience was great. From moment showed up at building till we left. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a comfortable waiting area unlike most other NY shows you go see. Seth takes time to come talk to audience and he's not rushed. He stood there calmly talking and interacting with everyone. Was nice that he wasn't so full of himself like most. The comedy guy is funny and calls you out. As with every show audience u have to cheer and laugh but their not yelling at you to do it for some long amount of time. I loved the experience the show was funny the band was great. Would love to go back next time I'm in NY area. Any day Seth is better, funnier and has balls unlike Jimmy Fallon. Go Seth.
izzyg-09017 I do not know what to say. I have never even felt amused at ANY of Seth Meyers' material. Maybe some people like his type of comedy, maybe they have to be drunk to appreciate it. I just hate it. That is all. Something about it makes my stomach curl and hate the idea of comedy. This is perhaps too strongly worded but it is my personal opinion that this is one of the least entertaining shows I have ever watched.
ortz3 Every single episode its the same thing, let's bash Trump. Listen we get it Trumps an idiot but even I, owe who voted for Obama am sick and tired of his biased, unfunny jokes. No matter what Trump does, even the rare instances where he did something "good", Seth just gets all negative and bashes him, and worse yet, he doesn't in such an unfunny way. You'd think I'm watching MSNBC. Jesus Christ, who in their right mind wants to watch a late night talk show from a biased "comedian" if you can even call him that. This Seth guy was riding all over Hillary during the election and even had the audacity to bash Bernie Sanders, one of the only honest politicians out there. There is either 2 things going. 1 is that he is being paid by someone to bash Trump or 2. he is just an unfunny guy, either way his show is terrible. John Oliver clearly hates Trump, but he doesn't spend every episode talking about it and even if he does, at least he's able to be mildly funny. Listen, unless something funny actually happens in the political world, then we don't want to hear it on a Late night talk show which is supposed to be funny. TERRIBLE SHOW
