Wow... Just... WOW! I've never seen an Icelandic production this awesome. I admit that it's for kids, but there's a lot of stuff for even adults to enjoy as well. In fact, it's so good, that it managed to cut the obesity rate of Iceland, and increase the fruit intake rate by about 15%. Unlike these pandering smuts like Toopy and Binoo which says: "I LUV EATING TREES", LazyTown shows their own way of teaching via actions, and they also have clever wordplay, like Sports Candy, also known as fruit. The actors of Stephanie and Sportacus are really talented in aerobics, and the one that steals the show for me is Robbie Rotten, with his crazy antics and disguises. In fact, when his actor had pancreatic cancer, endless memes paying homage to him boomed in the internet, which means that this show's success is incredibly high. The creator, writer and star, Magnus Scheving, felt that there wasn't much sports role models around the world, so he decided to turn himself into the ever lovely sports hero, Sportacus. This show is so full of charisma and awesome actions, that it leaves me saying: "More of this for the kids please. Less of... that (Teletubbies and Toopy and Binoo) please."

Words cannot express the emotions I have towards the Oscar deserving television program Lazy Town. Set in the fictional village, Lazy Town, relationships are challenged and hearts are broken as the devilish romance between Robbie Leanne Rotten, Sportacus the Grand and young Stephanie brews. The use of symbolism throughout the program in the form of Robbie plotting to increase laziness expertly highlights the troubles in our own lives, including perverted love. Despite Sportacus only being shown as a superhero, his lust towards Stephanie shows that he is more than a superhero and he is a man, with real human feelings and desires.

Lazytown rocks for Kids! It has great healthy eating and exercising messages and is full of fun and laughter and great music too! Get your kids moving and dancing to the music! The Mix of human and puppet actors with the wonderfully colourful CG sets is great and works extremely well.Sportacus (aka Magnús Scheving - the creator and star) is fantastic and his wholesomeness is very appealing to a parent. Stephanie is also fantastic for her age - I think Julianna Rose Mauriello will go very far. Robbie Rotten is however my personal favourite! He is the softest baddie ever and his bungles and schemes are very funny! To be honest my partner and I probably love it just as much (perhaps even more) than our 2 yr old daughter, and she is always glued to the TV for the whole 25 Min's of each episode! Check it out and get Dancing.
