Without a doubt, one of the worst new shows on TV. As a summertime filler, it is simply a waste of brain cells. Poehler should be embarrassed.

The premise of Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler hosting a crafting competition had so much potential. It's really fun watching the two kick back, relax, and have a little fun on the way. Likewise, I have liked all the crafters since the very beginning. It would be better to watch them being made, but I understand time is an issue and if you wanted to learn how to do it, there are plenty of tutorials out there to show you how. The thing about this show that is making it hard to watch, is how sad it is to see someone get sent home after doing all that work. A rating system from week to week where the points are tallied up and the winner takes all, would have been such a happier moment for everyone to celebrate for the person that did the best. Think of the celebration that is going to be at the end of this show. It's going to be 2 people being each other and when the one wins, the other one is going to be devastated. Just really wish that it had been a more positive way instead of stressing people out and making them cry on tv. I watch this to laugh and have fun, so please do something to keep it fun.

10/10 I absolutely love this show! It is so light and fun and is really just so unique, There are so many house flipping, cooking and reality tv shows but Making it truly is one of a kind. Hosts Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are so fun and kind spirited and just the perfect duo for this show and really just round it together that much more. There is nothing inappropriate or dingy about the show so anyone could watch it and enjoy it.
If you are looking for a fun, do it yourself, G O O D kind of show I would recommend.

I never write reviews but the editing of this show bothered me so much I had to comment. I like Amy & Nick. They're funny without taking the spotlight. And the "makers" or crafters are (mostly) very talented & varied. But if you're someone watching who likes crafts, then you want to actually see the techniques people use to make things and then actually SEE the finished product. The quick edits don't allow for you to see any of this! Which is the entire point of the show. It's not an action movie. The editor needs to watch some cooking shows or some popular youtube crafters.
