Round House was my favorite show and honestly had a profound impact in my life it help make me who I am give me strength and confidence, it taught me a lot of lessons and the songs were wonderful to this day I still sing them because they are a part of me... it is what i fall back on and remind me who I am. What did happen to those great shows? I have to admit that I loved the cleverness of the show the comedy, the life lessons the dancing. Everything about the show was clever. And had a very moralistic message, and sometimes, things to just make you think, and you were entertained. I loved the characters and the singers. I think everyone could relate to the show and should be brought back on the air because the themes are timeless.

This show was one of the best shows ever. My mom and I watched it to gether. It was something new and exciting. It was lots of fun. Roundhouse had the best music. I loved the theme song. I still remember the theme song and some episodes, which proves how much I liked this show. I was nine when it was on and now I'm 19 and I wish it was still on b/c it didn't matter what age you were. That's how great a show it was. The acting on there was fanominal! They were all so great.

Wow! this is the best example of classic Nick. Surfed on over here from the Newsies page. The cast of this show was so talented (remember the dancing?) This was back in the day of Clarissa Explains it all and Pete and Pete. Pre-Alex Mack and Pre-Spongebob. Honestly a lot of what Nickelodeon does now really isn't up to par. They've geared a great deal of their programming towards 7 year olds. I remember when most of it targeted 11-13yr olds and I loved it. Ren and Stimpy, Old School Are You Afraid of the Dark and Roundhouse were my favorite shows. Ivan and Micki..you're not forgotten!! Anyways, yeah...a bit 'o' nostalgia for y'all.

I agree with others that feel that this show was on nick at a time when that channel had intelligent, humorous shows, that gave the audience credit as an able-minded, thinking population of television viewers. I see shows that are currently on Nickelodeon, and I am saddened at how downhill the channel has gone with such empty, violent shows that offer viewers little need to think. To those that don't know, cast member Dominick Lucero died in July 1994 of Lymphatic cancer. Looking at his small body of work he left behind, we were robbed of yet another talented performer too soon. Many of the cast members were in a movie called "Newsies" which is a good representation of these peoples talent as dancers and all around performers. Crystal Lewis went on to demonstrate her very powerful voice on religious television as a singer. As far as I know David Crane who played "the father" also directed many episodes and continued in this direction. I enjoyed watching these performers in their youth and would like to see how their talent has developed and what directions they have taken professionally and personally.
