Sally, Kurt, and Chris are three perfect examples of ""The Boomerang Generation,"" which, as the name implies, refers to kids who grow up, leave home for college, and then come right back to the nest. Synopsis

Since mom and dad have made a temporary move from the frigid winters of Grand Rapids to sunny Arizona to protect dad's health, you'd think it'd be pretty sweet at home for 15-year-old Brooke Franklin. Well, think again. Brooke's brothers, Kurt and Chris and her sister Sally are in charge. Though there is the usual bickering about household responsibilities and personal lifestyles, Brooke's siblings share more than a common gene pool; they also share a real concern about Brooke's well-being and the intention to raise their youngest sister correctly. Unfortunately, they just can't agree how to do it.

madman_salv I am completely shocked that this show had been cancelled.Ity only lasted one year.I just recently started watching it and I love it.Its a show that could of gone as far as Friends went.It had the humour and was extremely enjoyable. It is about 2 brothers and 2 sisters living under one roof without their parents.Kurt(Joey Lawrence) plays the part of the oldest sibling and takes on the more fatherly role. This should of lasted much more than year as it was fantastic. Amazing show with all the best actors.10/10
Roxburyfunny1 The show has a really good unique story line that i like. The kids are funny especially Kyle Howard, Mo Gaffney and Joe Lawerence characters. The show, show's great promise to do well but a little more has to happen you know hear a little bit more of the parents. I love it though my mom says that Kyle's character really makes the show but i think really it's all of them and either way i love it. It's funny and fresh and i hope alot of people tune in a watch. Recommended for people who like good story lines and a good HAHA! ~! every now and then.
Pepper Anne I was delighted to find a show with my two favorite fellas: Joey Lawrence and Kyle Howard, but disappointed at the results. It is just another dull sitcom that may have a bit of sharp wit from time to time, but the writing is just plain horrible. Four siblings living together in their parents house while their folks are off somewhere else. Joey Lawrence plays the oldest brother who constantly tries to instill order in the family. Kyle Howard plays the brainless other brother with nothing but stupid remarks at every pass. There's the beauty queen type older sister and then the rambunctious youngest sister. And from time to time, there's a neighbor who pops in every now and then for some comic relief.I wouldn't be surprised if the network canceled this show and jammed another nameless, generic, unfunny sitcom in its spot. It's really a lousy show.
budikavlan The tale of 3 adult siblings caring for their teenage sister in the absence of parents, Run of the House is surprisingly like Party of Five except without the angst and with a much weaker cast. The Run of the House family don't feel like a family. Kyle Howard as Chris makes easily the best impression, but it's difficult to believe he is related to Joey Lawrence and Sasha Barrese. Margo Harshman as the teenage sister has so far suffered from a bland, underwritten role, and Mo Gaffney's "concerned neighbor" is pure dead wood. Howard is worth attention, but I'm not marking my schedule to watch this show in 2004.
