As a horror buff, I enjoyed it. It is difficult to make a horror show/movie/book of which the ideas haven't been done before, but I think this one has a fairly good crack at it.
Watch it for yourself, don't let other peoples opinions sway you.

Honestly, this show is insanely good for a slasher series. I was completely floored by the ending, and definitely didn't see it coming. The gore was horrifying and disturbingly realistic at times. I didn't really want any of the characters to die at the beginning, but as the story unraveled their deaths became more and more justified. The actors were actually wildly talented, especially for a horror series. I look forward to the next season.

Ignore the reviews on here. Wait til a nice late night. Turn off the lights and dive in to a modern day take on the slasher genre so many of us loved during the 80s. You are not going to get Oscar winning performances. Ummm. It is called Slasher. But it's worth checking out.

In the great tradition of the slasher genre all you want from Slasher the TV show is the whole cast to die as soon as possible. Like 15 minutes in the first episode. When watching TV/movie this bad I can't help wondering when exactly did the actors realise what they'd step into? hopefully before the opening night. Them three points for cinematography, feel sorry for the crew. PS. Just in case you're wondering, I do like horror, don't mind blood and guts, and prefer zombies to high art.
