Watched several episodes before losing interest. The foreign locales and villains are repetitive. Way too much gratuitous sex making Stapleton out like he is Brad Pitt. No Jack Bauer here to keep me involved and give me a rooting interest.

This isn't really a review, just a disappointment towards the new strike back. I mean this show was never just about guns and fights, but it's the chemistry. you can't buy that. I know might sounds cliche but that's just my opinion.

So I have watched the first 5 seasons twice now since it came out and was high in anticipation when I heard season 6 was coming out, although from the first episode I was disappointed, however I thought I'd give it a chance, but as every episode went on it just got more and more stupid and unrealistic. And I think Chris Ryan has been massively let down by this last season from Cinemax.
I will give this a solid 5 stars for the first 5 seasons but the last season doesn't deserve even one star. All in all a disappointed strike back fan

Season 6 reviewI have a confession to make, I had not seen Strike Back before. So I went into the series without really knowing what I was in for. And oh boy I was missing out on a lot. Strike Back is a fast paced that never lets up and with the odd sex scene thrown in. The plot revoles around a S.A..S sergerant who is recruited into a top seceret section in order to track down a female ISIS terrorist. Helping him are a US opertive and 2 sassy female agents. The plot takes many twists and turns with the team going up against Hungrian Ultra Nationists, Gangster, Arms Dealers and Russian Special Forces. Featuring appearences from the likes of Peter Firith and Trevor Eve to name just 2, Strike Back is an entertaing watch. I should hunt the other seasons on DVD
