Synopsis

The most unique log homes on earth are custom built by master log-smiths in the small town of Williams Lake, British Columbia. Each one is handcrafted on site, then taken apart, shipped around the world, and reconstructed wherever the client wants. No one else can do it like the boys at Pioneer Log Homes. They are "Timber Kings."

chasphilp This show is both entertaining and educational. They build the most amazing homes and whatever customers ask of them. Every project is customized so no two builds are the same. The whole team are so personable they have you laughing while leaning about the trades ups and downs. My family and I have watched every episode so far and are thrilled to see such quality TV as there isn't much for families to enjoy together anymore. Every team members personality is developed over time so we get to see the dynamics of how they are work together. The Boss, Andre Chevigny is an extremely approachable guy who has the respect of all his team and he has assembled a true team of experts who love what they do.
Brian Pauls It doesn't matter whether you're into DIY, House Construction, Woodworking or just Art... this program has it all.The program is centered around a group of individuals within a company called 'Timber Kings' - their speciality is the design and building of unique high-end (read: expensive) log homes. As per, the production company tries to instill moments of fear and tension into the program - in this case, it doesn't have to - because what we have here is a group of artists, and their medium is wood (or, more precisely, logs). The sheer skill and dedication that these people put into building the log homes for their customers is exceptional. You're not watching a construction project - you're seeing works of art (albeit functional works of art) being constructed. The tool of choice is the chain saw - and though I'd have preferred to have seen them utilised with a little more safety wear in evidence - you can't argue that these guys and gals are virtuosos' with themI was riveted from the beginning and am praying for more. If I had a spare million or so, these are the people I'd go to.Watch. Enjoy. Say "WoooooWWWW!!"
