OK, I like Tyler Perry. I love his character, Madea and most of his movies. That being said, I can't say the same for this soap opera. This soap is going to last for the next 10 or 20 years if they don't speed up the pace. You can miss one or more episodes and still know what's going on when you check in a month later. It d-r-a-g-s so badly. The characters repeat their sentences incessantly and the scenes are so long, it is annoying. The story does not progress at all. It's like you're seeing the same scenes over and over. I think we can do without some of the characters. For instance, why is Experanza even there? She contributes nothing to the story, really. She's Eddie's ex and they keep bumping into each other at work and saying the same brainless idiocies. I've had my fill with Marcie. Her only existence seems to be to aggravate Alex. I get it. Alex slept with her husband, but enough needling is enough. Get on with your life, move away if you can't stand seeing them and reconstruct your life for the better. Get a life, Marcie! Alex and Randal aren't worth your time or effort. Can Randal and Eddie get any more hateful? How much can Eddie get away with? C'mon! I detest both of these characters and can't stomach seeing them. I get busy doing something else when they're on. I don't know what to think of Kelly. Natalie - What is wrong with that woman? I feel like slapping her outside the head. Lushion is a good man and yet, she keeps ranting and raving about him carrying on with Alex and asking him if he's the father of her baby. How many times must he tell you he loves only you, woman?! Ugh! Aiden Turner, Charles Malik Whitfield, April Parker-Jones make their characters credible. I enjoy seeing them. The others - not so much.Whatever happened with Claudia and Pete? Are they going to continue this story line or should we forget about it? It's like the writer(s) just went off into space and left this hanging. And, for goodness sake, will you please have the FBI get factual evidence that Eddie killed Andrew already? It keeps dragging on and on and on....Tyler, please do something about the writing and dialogue of this soap. It's going downhill fast.

First and foremost, I must say I love the show. I have watched since the first episode. After watching the last few episodes I am frustrated in the "poor" acting. The writing isn't too bad, however it can be better (No offense Tyler, I still love you!). The actress who plays "Kelly", again NO OFFENSE, but do you think you can put more realistic "Heart" into your acting. It is very DRY and not real. Look very fake. Almost STOPPED watching the show behind your depiction of this character. Not going to just pick on you, because most of this cast is producing "mediocre" acting ... Just NOT believable, or presented with a lethargic lack of energy. I want this show to continue, this is why I felt compelled to point out the weak points. Now the actor that plays "Eddie", although he is the one you love to hate, this man is putting forth superior acting ability. He is makes you BELIEVE he is an "asshole". very strong in presenting his character. This is my very first post, so I think I should stop for now. I just want to keep it real, at the same time I want to encourage the cast to PLEASE "step up your game" or your going to make ratings DECLINE. Peace And Love to you all.

Just when you thought Tyler Perry couldn't produce a more poorly written, badly acted show, he outdoes himself with If Loving You is Wrong. The dialogue is so slow and repetitive that it's painful and infuriating.Th behavior of the characters is unrealistic in almost every way.Characters have no consistency and they're some of the most stereotyped, one dimensional silly creations on TV. Even my favorite - Eddie - is completely unbelievable. And yet, for all its flaws (or maybe because of them), the show somehow manages to be enjoyable. Complete fluff, but every so often you need some cotton candy. This is it.

Being a former police officer i am very upset at the continued way the police are portrayed on this show. It is a slap in the face of hard working honest police in this country. It as also inflaming the notion of fringe groups on how to ambush and shoot officers ( Pete's being gunned down). I feel that is desensitizes and sends out the wrong message to the community. I also feel that after 4+ years of seeing "dirty" cops glorified and seeming to be above the law that that is also a huge disrespect toward all in the police fraternity who everyday put their life on the line to make sure everyone is safe and able to come home to their loved ones. In light of the recent events of extreme rise in police shootings and killings you would think that any portrayal of any police that rogue or unlawful should be handled with equal respect being shown to the 99+% of lawful and good officers out there just doing their duty.
