Big Jim and Julia form a tentative alliance to search for proof that will discredit Christine, which leads them to new information about the Dome’s capabilities. Meanwhile, when tensions run high in town and threaten Christine’s leadership, she puts a plan in play that has deadly consequences.

When Big Jim is captured by Aktaion, the dangerous private corporation that’s descended on Chester’s Mill to harness the Dome’s energy capabilities, he’s forced to manipulate Christine for information about her agenda. As the world outside the Dome is rocked by a catastrophic meteor shower, unexpected alliances form inside the barrier. Eva tries to indoctrinate Barbie deeper into The Kinship and Big Jim and Julia turn to one another while isolated on Bird Island outside of town. Also, Joe is forced to accept help from Sam, the man who killed his sister.

EP8 Breaking Point Aug 06, 2015

Big Jim, Julia, Joe, Norrie and Hunter join together to form a resistance against Christine, who is mobilizing residents to work on a massive excavation project in the caves underneath the town. Also, Hunter uses his tech skills to contact the outside world.

EP9 Plan B Aug 13, 2015

Big Jim and Julia devise plans to end Christine’s control over the town by initiating a life-or-death plot involving Barbie and Eva, while Joe and Norrie conduct research to better understand the Dome’s ultimate agenda. Meanwhile, Hunter finds more information about the true head of Aktaion, the nefarious private corporation that wants to harness the Dome’s energy.

EP10 Legacy Aug 20, 2015

The Resistance, the citizens not under Christine’s control, join forces with an unexpected ally: Hektor Martin, the nefarious head of Aktaion. Despite Hektor revealing more about the Dome’s origins and helping to strike back at it, Big Jim and Julia still worry he will betray them. Meanwhile, Hunter receives encrypted files that give disturbing insights into the final effect the Dome will have on the infected townspeople.

EP11 Love is a Battlefield Aug 27, 2015

Members of The Resistance race to release their loved ones from Christine’s influence before she reaches her end game for the Dome. While Barbie risks everything in an attempt to free Eva from the Kinship, Big Jim and Julia are enlisted by Hektor, the head of Aktaion, to test a possible cure for infected townspeople. Also, Joe chooses to work with Christine after she shares some shocking information about the entity behind the Dome.

EP12 Incandescence Sep 03, 2015

When the Dome’s calcification process accelerates, Chester’s Mill has 24 hours before the barrier’s breakdown will suffocate everyone inside. While the new deadline puts added pressure on Joe to bring the Dome down, Barbie and Julia race to save his child from The Kinship. Also, Big Jim tries to manage the increasingly volatile Hektor, who is adamant that infected townspeople never escape the Dome.

EP13 The Enemy Within Sep 10, 2015

Series Finale: As the Dome in Chester's Mill comes down, the Resistance makes a final attempt to protect the outside world from the infected townspeople in the Kinship and their new queen.

Synopsis

A small town is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. While military forces, the government and the media positioned outside of this surrounding barrier attempt to break it down, a small group of people inside attempt to figure out what the dome is, where it came from, and when (and if) it will go away.

michaelr-07217 Having read the book, I was excited for the program. The excitement was short-lived. I could excuse the moronic script writing and junior high level acting at first, but within a few episodes it became completely unwatchable. Read the book. Waste no time on this garbage.

khageshbit Please don't waste your time watching this stupid show. i don't understand how it got 6.7 rating i watched this series season one because the concept of the dome was very interesting and seems promising so i continued watching after watching episodes by episodes i got very irritated this show is very dumbest show ever. poor acting logic less things characters do stupid things. if you want to pass your time you should go and sit in front of a wall and watch it for a hour instead of watching this series. completely nonsense.

lauramolenaar The series is based on the book of Stephen King which I have not read yet. Despite many people who do have read the book are negative about the series, I absolutely disagree with them. A fantastic story with actors which are fitting perfectly with their character and great special effects are the elements which are making this for me to a huge success. A series that you will watch from episode to episode in a breath.The series, about an out of nowhere arising, inescapable dome over a town called Chester's Mill, creates a story that draw your attention immediately. The dome causes an overwhelming of evil in the field of politics, food and water supply, the inaccessibility to friends, hefty natural phenomena and death of the citizens in the town. The plot twists are in my eyes very good, because of the suddenly appearance of never seen before people who gave a new twist to the story every episode.For now I have to say as well that the first 3/4 episodes where a bit tedious, but the episodes of season 1 that where following where amazing and the scenes with action where in my opinion more than present. I am now done with the first season and my plan is to watch the next two straightaway.If the people who have read the book say that the script and the actors or actually the whole series is bad, maybe they had too high expectations. Because to me, for who the story was completely unknown, the series is fantastic!

MC Ronson "Under the Dope" was likely the original Title, since this movie's premise goes from 'what is this'? somehow entertaining enough to continue watching and waiting for some kind of a plot to develop. ***spoiler alert** It never does.It proceeds as agonizingly slow as the plot is pointless. All this script serves is to reveal how shallow most of the amateur actors and actresses abilities are.These are what passes for the highlights of this show. The biggest disaster was the entire production, not whatever premise this series was attempting.
