Finfrosk86 I missed this whole thing with the pilot and the voting and the this and the that, and now the whole project is scrapped. But that will not stop me from reviewing it! Nevar!OK. So, I enjoyed this. The first minutes are absolutely perfect. Sort of clever. Then it goes a little downhill, not a steep hill though. The main problem I think people had with this is that these actors are playing the characters from the movie. That was a mistake. I actually didn't realize it until the at the end, haha. Now, I'm not sure if it would be better to have new characters, but it probably would. The violence is great. There's swearing, which always elevates things. The actors are alright. Yeah it's kind of clichéd here and there, but I think this would have made an entertaining show had it been green-lit. But we will never know now, will we!? Probably not.The guy playing Woody Harrelsons character is sort of funny. Not my favorite cup of tea, but he did alright. The rest ain't much to say about, really. As a TV-short this is enjoyable.'I feel sort of sorry for the actors involved, they were probably real happy to land this part, and then the whole thing just falls apart. Hang in there, folks!
mgs_manic every body's giving it a hard time in one way or another cause of Jesse or woody's lack to the show, well it would be a 100 out of ten if the originals was added to the cast but.......they ain't deal with it, the cast in replacement do justice enough i feel, yes, even Tallahassee, i really like the transition to be honest if they was to give the roles to non original casters than I'm glad they chose these guys n gals cause in all honesty they could do with some exposure so great job there, acting was considering new cast and not so well known actor/actress's a 7/10 enjoyed the chemistry between them and the direction they went together even the younger lass seemed to entertain my acting taste buds and (not to stereotype but....) most know that the younger stars ain't too great acting but she done goodstory (so far.....only pilot so ha ha) I'm gonna give a 7.5 possibly an 8/10 due to the slap stick and the 'zomedy' i found really entertaining and a little over the top which is (proven by family guy) quite a big hit in my parts of the pond so yeah, my only dig was i found it a little short but that is something i am more than willing to get used to.over all a 9/10 loved the new cast, good job, story was and could become more awesome along the way i hope to see more n more of the show have a big fan here from the get go so make it happen please :)
Allyssa Rainn Without question Zombieland The TV series falls short on quality of actors and budget compared to the movie. At first when watching the pilot I kept finding myself thinking I wish it was the same actors playing the same characters or new characters in general. Then after looking past the flaws in the new faces I found the show enjoyable, and even sorta funny.Personally I thought Detroit the voice OnStar was a great navigational addition to the cast, the bond of the four characters (even though the characters are portrayed by different actors) still flows smoothly from the transition from the big screen to the small screen; For some I could see how the transition could be a bumpy one, but once you look past the sight of new faces you will see a promising new show, which has endless possibilities. In the opinion of Allyssa Rainn "Never Judge A Book By It's Cover, And Never Judge A Show By Its Pilot Episode" lets see where this show can go and what bridges the creative team dares to cross.
Dain Slatton Right off the bat this show seriously annoyed me with the complete lack of any original ideas. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't expecting much, but they couldn't even go so far as to create new characters for the new cast, who look and act nothing like the characters from the movie. Basically the whole show is just some terrible attempt to get ratings based on the viral name of the movie. I would have been able to tolerate the show if they could have been bothered to create a new story, rather than trying to continue the already completed one at any cost. The acting ranges from okay to painfully bad, the writing is worse, and the action is completely unrealistic. I find myself struggling to watch it. I'm gonna go watch walking dead reruns. At least they are well written and generally well performed.
