nebilcs-168-165298 I'm surprised to see so much dislike because whilst undeniably flawed in some respects, it told a tight, coherent story without overdoing the screams or special effects and maintained an air of mystery through to the open conclusion. The pacing was unhurried and the production high quality. In terms of flaws, some of the acting wasn't quite there, some of the scenes weren't quite there and the final act was fairly predictable. Another 10-15 minutes building on the backstory would have helped to better establish context. That said, for me at least it kept up the interest.
whitewitchlady The story SOUNDS interesting - until you start to watch and see how crappy the acting is. Then - the story drags...if you could call this a story. This received a 2 ONLY to be kind. It was a struggle to finish. When it finished...I was like "It's over?". FAKE 5 out of 10 reviews! How much were these guys paid?
mousta-56507 This movie is horrible. It's slow, excruciatingly boring, annoying...the story isn't interesting, the characters aren't likable, and most of the acting is garbage. I watched it because I'll watch anything with 5 or more stars...how this got 5 stars boggles the mind. To say this is an average horror movie is shameful. Avoid this dumpster fire...
fairyangel-46375 This horror movie took me by surprise, no blood or gore here, but filled with lots of psychological suspense, which was disturbingly thrilling to watch. I agree with the review from Variety, it most certainly had a "Rosemary's Baby" resemblance to it. The music enhanced the mood and feel throughout the entire film. The actors who played Adam (James Zimbardi) and Lawrence (Raam Weinfeld) stayed in character the whole time and the portrayal of their characters was very believable. The message of this movie really makes you think twice about who you should trust. I believe this is a must see film and I am sure hoping for a sequel!
