ajay-92672 Since it was a revenge movie,i had high expectation on this movie but this movie disappointed me,it is just an average 1 time watch, direction is poor so is the screenplay and acting wise Varun Dhawan is not suitable for this kind of character and Nawaz from nowhere looks like a villain and sometimes i fail to understand where is the revenge in this movie
chirag nagpal I give 6/10 rating to Badlapur movie because this is a great movie and its story line - (A young man (Raghu) wants revenge from the people who killed his wife and son in a bank robbery. There are two suspects in this case ,one escapes with the money and the other gets caught by the cops and is sentenced 20 years in jail. Fifteen years later he is suffering from cancer and he has only a year to live, so he requests Raghu to forgive his rest of the sentenced and let him get out from the jail. Raghu accepts his apology only on one condition that he names his partner. So after 15 years will Raghu be able to find the other suspect who destroyed his life? Will he punish him and take his 15 years old revenge?) is also good but when we see the movie deeply then we find two big mistakes in two different scenes. Get a look at these two mistakes in this video-- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6EpBdp2bzo
manishbajaj-94107 Manishbajaj94107 After a long time I watched a good Bollywood movie. The movie revolves around the concept of revenge. But as you would have seen so many movies regarding that, so why watch this? This is why, this movie is more practical than many of the other movies. Here the protagonist is not ethically correct every time and that is true for any common man. In the end, the movie has a message for people who thinks revenge is the best way.Extremely well chosen actors, from Nawaz to Divya, all have acted well. Nawazuddin has done a extremely stunning performance and shows the mettle to outshine any protagonists in the movie. Varun Dhawan for a change has done a very good work unlike his usual style of chocolate boy. Must watch for people who can handle a bit of gore.Other reviewers have appreciated the movie but has under-rated it, but I must say, it is an 8 all the way.
godessmeena88 How cold does it have to be for revenge to be served sizzling hot? 'Badlapur', Sriram Raghavan's latest, is a mixed bag of a movie: it has a cracking set-up, a middle with the occasional unsettling prod, and an end which fizzles. A bank heist goes horrifyingly wrong, resulting in the death of innocents. One robber gets away, the other is caught and incarcerated. And the young man whose cozy, comfortable life is overturned by the incident, vows 'badla'. In the way it opens, 'Badlapur' is so riveting you don't even want to blink. You watch, heart in mouth, willing the critically injured to keep breathing. You are hooked, by a beginning which is such a brutal shocker that you cannot wait to see how this tale of darkness and promised destruction will pan out. The rest of the tale is choppy, sometimes leaping off the screen with the right degree of unpredictability, bringing us back to the edge of our seats again, and then letting us off. The look is all lush noir-thriller and transfers instantly, but getting the feel across feels like a stretch.
