steffycyril When the movie was announced i was sure it would be fun.I was more excited to watch the film. The promotions promised full toss entertainment with catchy dialogues in their promotions.Each promos promised that it was a movie worthy to watch . Varun Dhawan is the most natural character in the movie.He has that charm that make us us laugh.John Abraham is also better compared to earlier movie with this director. About the lady characters,Jaqueline is the cutest.There is a good story spiced with item dances which is the masala in bollywood movies. But they are important in the film. It does not drag much as in usual one with dance sequences.The background scores are refreshing. Even the cameos were excellent.I love the way the songs gets balanced.The dialogues and facial expressions of Jaqueline is super compared to other films where they are just supportive.

meghasharma-85139 This movie is AMAZING! With 2 amazing actors, and a popular heroine, Dishoom exceeded all thoughts on this movie. If you love action movies with a bit of romance and amazing music, (and a bit of cricket) this movie is for you. You barely even realize the characters come in when they do. Their entrances are so mind blowing and the characters they play makes it all the better. Characters are played by the people in real life that resembles that character. For example, the movie takes advantage of John Abraham's body build and his character is a cop. Varun Dhawan is a funny and great guy, while being very fit, and can always put a smile on your face, and can be serious at times. He plays John's partner. This is honestly an amazing movie and it was great to see on the big screen.

sunilbeemanathi-53260 Dishoom has a very good story, but the execution was not up to the mark. It had great cast, but the screenplay was not so good. John Abraham acted like a tough cop, varun dhawan was comic, but then become serious at the end. Jacqueline was alright. Songs were good. Film starts on a good note with viraj playing good knock against srilanka in the semi finals. Eventually India wins the semifinals and will meet Pakistan in the final. Then Viraj will be kidnapped. Then the rest of the story is how viraj come backs and plays the finals. There are some great cameos like Akshay, Parineeti and Nargis. My overall rating will be 7 out of 10 as the direction was good in parts and action sequences are good.

Samahire404 DISHOOM REVIEW : Finished watching it on FDFS and all i can say is, its not that movie to work after Weekend on Box office. Basically trailer promised that Film will be full of Action and obviously with Mad Max Fury Action Director, expectations were high. But film broke all expectations and served them into small pieces. Less in comedy, less in action, less in humour, less in entertainment, overall less in everything. Film failed to impress but still entertained as other Average movies does. Akshay Kumar impresses in 5 minutes cameo. Details below - Acting - Entire Starcast miserably failed to impress. Actually can't blame them entirely cause their roles weren't well written. In between John Abraham impresses as Rude Cop, some funny dialogues from Varun and Jaqueline looks hot in some scenes. Akshay Khanna came back on screen after a long time and failed to impress. Overall nothing impressive in Acting field.Screenplay - Thank god it had only 2 hours run time otherwise it would have been headache. Film looks average at the point of Interval only then same scenerio continues in 2nd half.Music - Title song starts the film and it's Rocking. Then no songs in First Half. '100 Tarah Ke' comes quickly after Interval which is situational song and its Bombastic. Then 'Janeman' at End Credit. Overall a Good music album.Cinematography - Good but not great. Action scenes have been shot well.Direction - Average ! The main problem is Director failed to keep film pacy despite small run time. Tried too hard to add all the elements but nothing worked big. This field definitely could have been much much better.Final Words - Overall its Strictly Average Film. You will be entertained for some time but that some time actually comes for a while. This film won't work Critically as well as Commercially. Watch it only if you don't have any other option. 5/10* Stars by me.
