Reviews

Teri McCarthy My husband and I have watched this movie with all five of our grand kids - which means we've seen it over 20 times. I am not exaggerating. The grand kids love it, quote it, and ask to see it every time they are at our house. We adults love it too. I do not understand the negative reviews. This is a great story.
DaytonMetroSoccer This was a very funny little flick that most people will watch over and over again. Also note very quickly, seeyounext2sday is Completely correct. Do not judge this film of plagiarism if you do not even know the **** facts! Thats BS.Anyway, highly recommend for a slow Saturday night or just anytime. I watched it over the summer thinking it would be stupid by judging it by its cover of Otis riding a motorcycle, but when the first 10 minutes started I really knew that I was in the hands of some good writers. Like I said before, don't judge if you don't have the facts, and this is a very highly recommend movie while also being a very funny flick, original, and slightly cliché but good!
dreamindad My family has watched Barnyard more times together than any other movie. The simple reason is that it makes us laugh. We have surpassed watching it 10 times and each time we all look forward to its zany antics, clever humor and fun story line. My son goes around imitating the characters all day and acting out the scenes. The pizza delivery scene was brilliantly done. This one of the first movies we have seen where the characters mannerisms match the persona of the voice's owner. Kevin James' personality and physical humor comes out easily. Sam Elliot's voice and personality were a perfect match for the role in which he is Otis's father.
sirfire First of all I totally agree that this is NOT a family movie and to be frank i cannot believe that it is marketed this way. It should be rated M and aimed at teenager or above cause it does have far too many things to explain or even talk about to minors. We shouldn't be discussing drink driving, gang bashing's, murder or what is a cow and why do they have MALE cows when there is no such a thing. It's clear that this is a far side joke IMO and this was aimed at the adult audience only however I believe that greed made them point tone it down enough to be PG and aim it towards a broader audience and as such it brings it down cause people are expecting one thing or another and are not either. It's enjoyable if you didn't have kids and opened minded you will enjoy it. Shame they toned it down cause it could have been a ripper adult movie :) 5 out 10.
